q 1: where does the bible say god's name is jehovah.. q 2: what's an apostate.

q 3: what is the "evil slave vs good slave" i read this ealier sounds more like a movie in hollywood.. q 4: why would any one want to be a slave.

q 5: why not give a child blood to save their lives.

I'll take these two.
over 6900 times in the old testement the hebrew letters were used yhwh read from right to left.
How these letter are to be pronounced is not known and yahweh is believed to be the proper one....not jehovah.
Even the Jehovah's witnesess believe this to be true as explained in their own literature. They however demand that this term jehovah be used in their group or you would be ostrasized if you differed.

An apostate to Jehovah's witnesess is one who was baptized in their faith and then later decides to believe another way.
Once you are in their organisation you must believe all doctrinal beliefs that is decided by a handfull of men located in brooklyn NY.
If you say you don't believe ALL the things that they teach and you persist in your ways after they have threatened you to stop....you will be shunned from their organisation and by all members and be labled 'AN APOSTATE'.
PS. Aren't they a nice bunch?

Can a Person Get Salavtion if He Never Read . ..?

can a person get salavtion if he never reads the bible?.

can person just except christ but have nothing to do with the bible and get salvation?.

if someone lived a trillion x longer than you, and had a billion x more reasoning ability would he come to the same conclusions as you?.

Yes i believe salvation is possible without the bible.
If it isn't....God is not fair!
The bible say's 'people who have NO LAW, but do the THINGS in the law...are a law to themselves.
By the time judgement day comes....don't you think there will be literally millions who have never seen or heard of the bible.
Would it be fair to for God to wipe them out because they were too unfortunate to have never seen or heard of the bible.
I think as francois said: God will look at those who love their neighbor and are good people in their hearts.
Do people have to believe in christ for salvation?
According to the bible they do. What if they never heard of him either?
Will God kill them because they never heard of him and so didn't give their life to him??? Well!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????

change of position on DF'd persons?

ummm...question re my mothers status...she got dfd 3 months ago and expected to be shunned.

indeed, i told her she would be shunned.. but she reckons that everyone is being real nice, talking to her in the street, etc, has there been a change of policy?.

ive been out a long time and would have expected shunning.. shes starting to think of me as a false prophet.

No change in policy as of yet. Mulans comment was right on.
What HAS happened is a loosining up on the publishers from the strictness of the society. R-rated movies,talking to df'ed members, going to colledge, planning for retirement, investing,are all things that were once tabboo but is practiced by many dubs at the present.
My mom, my two sisters, my daughter/son-in-law, all talk to me.
Other ones in my particular trade that are witnesess, talk to me when I run into them.
My friends parents who are dubs talk to me when they pass my way.
I am a known apostate to all of these people and they STILL talk to me.
Part of the reason is.....I don't cause them trouble and am always kind to them.... and...my family are dubs and I think that helps.
Congregation also differ in place to place.
Some are more srtict than other depending on the age of the body of elder in that particular hall.Some are from the "Old School", some not.

Clearly, the Bible - by using this kind of terminology - shows beyond any reasonable doubt that the basic nature of cats, while created perfect by God, has become evil or 'beastlike' since the fall of Adam six thousand years ago.

It was a common practice in ancient Egypt to worship or idolize cats as 'gods'.

Clearly then, as loyal Christians, why would we even want to associate with animals that are without a doubt of such bad influence

Now we are not saying you should'nt own a cat. We are sure here by the way we have worded this article that you all should have no guilt if you do own a cat.
We have written in this article all of the good points of having a cat too! remember ... either way you pick will be fine with us.

Focus...are you serious this article exists? I have got to see this if so.

Now why would they use references from BABYLON THE GREAT to prove their points?
I thought the sources that they quoted from is the harlot which is false religion!
All of their own research comes from sources other than their own.
Only THEY can quote and read from babylon....NOT the publishers.

yesterday, when farkel announced his departure and shunning of us all, i was incensed and outraged.

in fact i had similar feeling's to those day's 20yrs ago, after being df'd, where former friends and relatives, just simply said 'your no good, your not worthy of my/our attention anymore' turned thier back's and walked away from me.

then witnessed farkel ignore the sweet comments lilac's writes just for him....made we want to ring his neck.

I think if one has a good reason to leave and they feel they NEED to
then they are free to go.
It's the way they make it sound so permanent.Like you'll never
hear from them again. Why can't they say they need some time off and will drop in from time to time to say hi?
That's what friends do don't they?
You start to get an attachment to certain personalities and get to know them somewhat then they leave.

Six: You have every right to be pissed!
Believe me....I go thru spirts when I don't know what the crap to believe. Creation and design always bring me back to God.
The bible.....lot's of questions for me.
When I find what I feel is a GOOD explanation other than creation...I will share it here.
I'm off to work for the day and will be back this evening.

is it possible for the human mind to really understand what god is?.

Sixofnine: Some who do a deep study go your way.....some go the other.
What causes the two sides? Why do some believe and others do not.
Learned men with much research on both sides and still the debate goes on with the bible/God.
I only hope and wish God will read hearts of people and keep safe those who are good people.
I have lots of questions six. But as of yet I believe in a loving creator.
Try not to get so PISSED at posts from believers.
I get PISSED at strong posts like yours....that's why I try to word things to not offend others.
It is nice to have variety here and you add to that variety.
