  jehovahs witnesses are under a grand and multi-faceted illusion that has been fabricated and is being maintained by the society.

  one such facet of that great illusion is that jws are actually proclaiming gods kingdom and teaching people the truth about god and jesus.

  it was only a few years ago (hey, im not the brightest candle on the cake!

  This was also true of ANY part in the meeting's.
  
  Brothers giving the public talk, school assignments, service meeting parts, were NOT allowed to bring in ANY foreign material that was not in the outline or publication your assignment was taken from.

  If you did...it was the responsibility of the school overseerer...(if it was a part on the school)....to council you about it.

  Perhaps this is why so many dubs have little self esteem........they don't have to think in their spiritual life....it's all done for them! How sad

  Who is the President of the WTS?

  how many jws know the name of their current president?.

  everyone knows about russell, rutherford, knorr and franz.

  most know about henschel but i haven't come across any that know the name of the current pres.. i believe it's don adams - and he doesn't even claim to be one of the "remnant"!

  hello jw's.

  i got mails from a fellow who thinks that i am a jw co. he is so enthusiastic that he wnat to become a jaydub and is sending me mails requesting a biblestudy by e-mail.

  of course i can not do that.. so, can any of you jw's who read this, contact him and conduct a biblestudy with him?

  Tomorrow is D-day

  okay people i am going to the jehovah's witnesses congregation to talk with the preist or elders.

  i have over a dozen questions to ask them, they are short and to the point.

  if anyone want to give any last minute advice i am listening.

  In all fairness.....it wouldn't be fair to danni if the elders recorded her so why record them? It would be nice but also deceitful and wouldn't go well especially if were they to find out.
  Her boyfriend will hear firsthand what they say to back danni up.

  Danni: How about ask them this....Do you think the end is very close?
  They will say yes.
  Then ask....if I decide not to ever be a Jehovah's Witness...will I die at armaggedon? They'll skip around that one even though they believe you WILL die.
  
  Then you could ask your boyfriend.. right in front of them..Do you want a relationship with someone who will be dead in a few years?
  This sounds a little funky but that is exactly how they believe regardless of what they tell you.
  
  ALL will die that does not join their organisation once that person has been presented their views and rejects them.

  We're Back! Finished Romans

  mrs ozzie and i are just back from a very stimulating week studying the complete bible book of romans at the feet of noted bible scholar paul barnett.. as many of you would appreciate, it was reading the book of romans that led many brooklynites to see the truth about 'the troof'.

  much interesting detail is given in ray franz's book crisis of conscience.

  in short, a thorough reading of the complete book, in context, would cause a thinking jw to start to question many of his previously held absolute truths.. we're a trifle tired, so maybe some tidbits later.

  Resignation - not that it matters at all, but ....

  i just wanted those kind-hearted, those gentle, those friendly ones of you to know that i wrote my letter of resignation as an elder yesterday, after having served in that capasity for 24 years.. those wishing to call me or any society "bastard", "sucker", "braindead" or anything, as they have before, i would ask please to refrain from that.

  other comments would be welcome.. somehow, it is the armstrong quote about "one small step for man, one giant leap for humankind" (approximately) the other way around, "one giant leap for (a) man, one hardly noticeable step for humankind".. ok, that was that.

  Amen bro.!YOYO..it took me a loooooooooooooooong time to believe this but it is true as can be!
  Many people other than the witnesess are really good, loving, caring people.
  Many love God and his word and live by it too.
  I remember a CO saying in a talk he gave "there is no love outside of Jehovah's organisation"
  I remembering wanting to slap him for saying that and I almost confronted him so as to ask him just what the hell he meant!(that was when I was doing good in the truth)

  i recall a conversation i once had with my jw uncle about the many doctrinal flip-flops, the blood issue, and how some in the cong.

  treated me like @w#$@ even though i was never baptized.. funny, the only thing he could defend himself with was "well, do you know of any other religion that insists on god's name?

  " i didn't know of any, so i coudn't really say yes.

  If God was that intent on people using and making known his "NAME" he would at least told us HOW to pronounce it!
  Their own definition of what a name means in their Aid/Insight books
  contradicts what they preach it means.
  Yes....God is going to destroy ALL people that have used the name Yahweh,Lord,Father, God instead of Jehovah.
  Don't all of you remember when your father used to beat the crap out of you for not making his name known in the neighborhood?
  Remember when he would say "don't you EVER call me dad again!You know my name you little bastard! Use my name or I will beat you again!
  Your not a child of mine! You don't use my name......why I otta.......
