  Shocking Announcement: Society feels Armaggedon coming this year?

  a rumor alert indeed, but it could be related to the distribution of kingdom news no.37, "false religions end is near.".

  the following is posted from e-watchman's forum.. make of it what you will, but in light of all the rhetoric about "deliverance at hand" and "independent thinking", nothing would surprise me anymore.. http://e-jehovahs-witnesses.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1502&st=0 we posted about an announcement it was only local to our cong.

  however we have found out that there is going to be an announcement sometime in september and it is supposed to be shocking.

  Do any religions other than JW's reject transfusions?

  i've heard some orthodox jews reject transfusions as well.. thanks,.

  Pete...I was on a roll dammit and you had to go and ruin it.

  Seriously, regardless of what Jesus said...he ate when he was hungry rather than obey a law he chose to break. Plucking grain on the sabbath was punishable by death....yet Jesus put physical welfare in place of a law. ......................k.....let me have it again with both barrells dammit.

  No better reasoning is there than the one I learned in COC about how Jesus plucked grain on the sabbath with his diciples and used David and the showbread as an example of the scripture..." I want mercy, not sacrifice" to answer his questioners.

  i have two children, one daughter 18 months and a son 7 years old.

  since the day my son was born i started fearing death.

  i love my life and do not want to ever die, that is carry over from brainwashing.

  I hope his words are someday obsolete and that man can overcome death through science in the medical field.....if man doesn't destroy himself first.

  Correction

  The Sun appears to have been active for 4.6 billion years and has enough fuel to go on for another five billion years or so. At the end of its life, the Sun will start to fuse helium into heavier elements and begin to swell up, ultimately growing so large that it will swallow the Earth. After a billion years as a red giant, it will suddenly collapse into a white dwarf -- the final end product of a star like ours. It may take a trillion years to cool off completely.

  ok, maybe the word "saved" is inappropriate.... in my case, i would have to count three.

  two of my best friends from when i was growing up who initially resisted my questions and apostate leanings but are now free of the borg and have confided it was our conversations that led to their de-programming.

  and, my sister, through pretty much the same circumstances.

  Only three I can think of directly....( there are probably more I can't think of).

  Indirectly is another story. I've had people PM me here and told me they enjoyed things I have said about dubs that made them think....however, my posts are a very small part of this board and EVERYONE here has a part in aiding ones out. Who knows how many we have ALL helped stay out of the Jehovah's Witnesses by our experiences and posts we make?

  I have given a testimony in a Baptist church with 3 others about why and how I exited the witnesses. I may have helped all those who heard me to never allow a witness to get a foot in the door with them. I have spoken to a great number of others about the witnesses on my jobs I do in their home also.....and this may have prevented them from becoming interested in the witnesses down the road.

  Actually, we have no idea how many we have aided. Everytime we expose the witnesses to those who know little about them, we plant a seed in these as to what the dubs are really made of.

  It all started with C. Columbus. We'll just call him Chris for short....k?

  ...and this is where the abuse all started. That tall indian lady in the backround rode poor young Chris like a crazed cowboy when he was only a young 20 year old man till the wee hours of the night. ( wee is really a long time) She abused him so bad he turned out to be a lyin, greedy, hearless, asshole and he influenced his offspring.....the Americans..... (also known as the Christopherites) and thats when we started having problems.....and that's I gotta say bout that there.
