Why is God speaking in riddles?

SoSo, you are right, it really is quite simple: Love God with your whole heart, love your neighbor as you love yourself. That's what Jesus said and it works pretty well. Regarding adding numbers and calculations, remember that Jesus said no one would know the day and hour that he would return, so it makes all of those people who are trying to come up with dates and numbers look rather stupid. They believe they can "out think" God. Even if they could figure out when God planned to return, all Jesus would have to do is change his mind and come another day just for the fun of it.

Hummingbird, thanks. I was thinking that, once we lose enough weight, we could always add in some brown rice or quinoa to reintroduce healthy grains.

It is a caveman/woman diet. Meat with lots of veggies, fruits, nuts and seeds, and eggs. Need to eat lots of veggies and fruits. It's supposed to be very good for people (like me) who have diabetes. Do you know anything about it?

I used to write my elder-husband's talks and he got raves over them. Then he'd be mad at me because I wrote better talks than he could write.
I'm a good speaker but I do tend to talk a little bit fast. Never noticed any real jealousy.

Jam, I've often said that one way of knowing that Satan is guiding the WTS is the fact that they produce more Christianity-haters than any other group but Islam.

i pondered on a rather strange idea (sort of a divided feeling) today after reading an article and i wondered how all of you would react.

in the unlikely event the ivory towers of wathtower came crashing down (not literally) lets just say there was a mass awakening.

for those of you who have suffered from atrocious behavior from friends and family, how would you really react?

One of my siblings is only still in the Borg because he's afraid Momma will disinherit him. After she eventually dies one day, I expect him to leave the Borg and become all lovey dovey and want back in my good graces.
Ain't happening.
Too much water under the bridge. For all of them, if the WTS crumbles tomorrow, I don't want to hear from them, see them, or even know they still exist. Unless they leave on their own terms and have some level of intellectual honesty, I don't want them as friends anymore. Cold but truly how I feel.
