Jehovah's Witness wives do not need consciences.

my feelings on this subject have continued consistent throughout my time from being a zealous, believing witness to now.

so there's all these areas of "conscience" as a dub, which movies you can watch, what you can wear etc etc.

but.. here's the catch.

The JW doesn't have a "conscience." Rather, he/she has a "bible trained conscience." Since the JWs wrote their own bible, it follows that the JWs actually have a Watchtower trained conscience. For the JW, conscience is just another term for brainwashing.

If JWs actually had consciences, they wouldn't be able to treat others the way they do, especially not their own family and lifelong friends who decide to leave the WTS. And they wouldn't be able to neglect their "worldly" family members. Cats treat their kittens better than JWs treat their families.

Under the section labeled "Our Readers Ask," the second paragraph begins, "The historical document reads...." The Bible is a lot of things but it's not a history book, not in the sense we mean it today. Stupid people.

Peanut butter or jelly...

ok with the continuning political debate there is only one question remaining...peanut butter or jelly ( no not both) sandwichs.... for me peanut butter with honey...and bananas....

I've only seen peanut butter and mayo eaten in the South. Can't stand mayo, myself.

I love peanut butter and pickles. And I'm definitely not pregnant!

My favorite is peanut butter on one slice of bread with crushed peanuts on it; on other slice of bread put strawberry jam with strawberry slices on it. A decadent treat for when fresh strawberries are in season.

Re: rye bread, I have a delicious recipe. Make rye bread dough, roll it out, coat it with mustard, brown sugar, and crushed pineapple. Place a ham in the middle of it. Wrap the dough around the ham and bake. Yummy.

Yay! It worked! The little boy in the top half of the picture is the one who just had surgery on both legs. He has cerebral palsy and scoliosis. We're trying to make sure he maintains his ability to walk in the long term.

And, finally, one last time, here's my oldest son as he was 25 years ago:

I'm using up all my posts for the day on this alone! LOL!

If this works right, it's my now 12 year-old and now 17 year-old on Easter Sunday of 2003. They were worn out from being up past midnight for the Easter Vigil!
