I was born in too,and what pisses me off about myself is that I did see a lot of the Bulls**t for what it was,but I believed that as God allowed His Name to be on the religion,he would sort them out!

I also suspected those QFR's, if not made up then they were never picking any hard ones to answer,thats for sure.

nine months ago, my whole world was rocked sideways and upside down!!
it all started with a search on the internet about jw's and 1975. little did i know what i was going to see when i came on here-jwn and freeminds.org.
needless to say, i was totally devastated to learn how that the "truth" was not really the truth.

the 2008 service reports shows that jehovah's witnesses preached in 236 lands.
the preaching work is banned in communist countries such as china(which have over 1.3 billion people) and korea.
there might be underground preaching work but not enough to even cause a concern.. my question: how does the wts explain what will happen to all these people who will never hear their message?

What witlesses miss of course,amongst many things,is that they are NOT preaching what Jesus or the Apostle Paul preached,so according to Scripture their efforts are a waste of time.

finally i got my chance to see what a witness was made of on the phone yesterday.. .
her opening line was "we haven't been able to reach you at your door, so that's why we're calling (barefaced lie as we have had witnesses call latey who even came back for a return visit but that's besty's story...).
we had a lively but ultimately very frustrating conversation.

I think it is commendable that any of us use such opportunities,it is the drip drip of questions they cannot answer which will wake them up if at all possible,some never will wake up of course.

most is negative toward the religion.. coming onto jwd/jwn gives one a different perspective.
you get to interact with those thinking about leaving, those who have already left and even some who never were in the cult but are fascinated by the experiences of those that were in the "truth".. when you are on this site, how does it affect you??

This site saved my life,I was in such despair when I left the Borg. after fifty-eight years in (born in) that I felt I just wanted to die. I even planned how to do it.I have other problems apart from leaving the Religion,but the leaving was the biggest trauma I had ever experienced.
I then started reading on here and realised that I owed it to those I love to pull myself through,and the therapy of being on here and all your kind words and thoughtfull advice have helped me so, so much.

this is for the christians on the site really,but all comments are welcome.. jesus said that "no one comes to the father,except through me", my understanding of those words is that we need to ask jesus to be our saviour,to accept,or adopt, us as sons and daughters,and thus become our eternal father,and thus we become brothers and sisters of christ and hence can have a relationship with almighty god.. i may have missed something so please add or correct me,but if the above is in essence correct no jdub of the " great crowd" can have a relationship with god,as they are not christs brothers.. this leads me on to ask,if you do believe as i do (as above) what can i do about the lords evening meal,i do not feel at present that i can go to any church,i will not go to a k.h,and i am alone in my belief as to family,so have any of you celebrated it alone?
and if so isn't that really weird?.

I feel that Jesus words "Keep doing this in remembrance of me" were particularly aimed at those present on that night,but if we do apply them ourselves how could we go to a KH and REJECT Jesus by not partaking?

or, you could get off your ass, open the fridge and have a look.. if you don't see any cheese after a cursory look, you could empty the fridge to make a thorough examination.

But lets be conservative and say 100 Million souls will come back,where will they all live? How will they be fed?Could the Earth take it?
