  Blood Fractions

  someone is pressing me about blood fractions on an unrelated thread, so i just moved the topic to an appropriate location.. "the point for me in every thread you touch is your sickening dishonesty and nauseating apologies for the old men in brooklyn who tell you what to do.. they have told you that products made from blood don't use blood, and you are so corrupt and gullible you just accept it.".

  i accept any bible-based religion that adheres to the bible as its authority.. the purpose of this magazine, the watchtower, is to honor jehovah god, the supreme ruler of the universe.

  just as watchtowers in ancient times enabled a person to observe developments from afar, so this magazine shows us the significance of world events in the light of bible prophecies.

  I'm not a doctor and i havent researched the whole matter...but i do set up blood transfusions from time to

  time at work. I also come across orders for patients to have transfusions done and in the four years that i've been

  doing this i've never come across an order that states :"whole blood transfusion". From what i've experienced at work

  when dealing with hematology...The doctors always refer to blood in fractions. I could be wrong and please someone correct me

  but i have not come across that term. Only patients use the term "blood transfusion" or doctors will say to the patient just to make it easier for them to understand....but when ordering a transfusion i've never come across the term "whole blood".

  The Guilt Trip

  i was doing just fine.

  then not too long ago i got a call from an old jw friend not on purpose really(thats another subject).

  anyway we went through the "how are you" type thing.

  anyway we went through the "how are you" type thing. Then came the "why don't you come back...your life would be so much better"

  and on and on...."Just start going to a meeting at a time". I was so emotionally drained and upset afterwards...I was in tears.

  Then I found myself falling back into their mindset within a few minutes of conversation. The whole conversation was so mentally

  damaging. The guilt trip that they lay on you. Instead of them shunning me...From now on I'm going to shun them.

  The Resurrection of the Righteous and the Unrighteous

  one saturday morning after eating at a restaurant, my family and a group of witnesses left the restaurant at about the same time.

  so, i struck up a conversation and eventuallly tactfully questioned them about how they hoped to have their sins forgiven since official wt doctrine is that jesus is only the mediator for the 144,000. .

  after bantering a bit and trying to have it both ways, one man essentially claimed that the whole point was moot because there was going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous.

  If the wages of sin is death...my question is: If your are ressurected what is your status? Do you have a clean slate? how are you righteous or

  it occured to me that when the new, young elders, ministerial servants and so on take over, they are further and further away from the origin of the witnesses.

  when the lies were fresh in the minds of all, when people saw first hand what was done wrong, giving them the reasons to jump ship and enjoy life, without fear of making a mistake, because they had a good idea of the facts.

  these things have since been brushed under the carpet and the circuit overseers, elders, ministerial servants and so on are more naive and clueless (in my opinion) than ever.. the same applies to the rank and file witnesses.

  I asked a relative if i could look at their KM. I was shocked. It's so simplified. Actually there was no information of any real sort.

  not like it used to be when you had to read the km and look up bible verses etc. It was like reading a notice about a garage sale.

  when i left the organization one of the reasons i did so was because of the hypocrisy i saw within the congregation regarding sheepherding the weak.

  people who were struggling to make meetings, ones who were house-ridden due to illness or depression, ones who don't keep a prominent position in the hall, these ones were all ignored.

  i was one who never ever ever missed a meeting and in august i suddenly stopped going.

  Not one call from the elders that df'd me. Not one call from the elders at the congregation I transferred to even though i attended meetings faithfully for about 5 months and they know how to contact me. Even when i would visit on occassion....not one word.

  whatever i'm done....i really believe now that it is not the truth...

  i had 2 nice ladies come to the door this morning.

  i played it very cool as long as i could, asking "dumb" questions like what ever happened to your 1914 generation teaching?

  i knew it could only go so far and sure enough they began to smell a dirtyratcat.

  I've been in my area for about 2 years now. I live in a metro-type area. There is a kingdom hall down the street. I have not encountered not one JW in the mininistry. I see mormons everyday. but the Large army of JW's preaching to save mankind....NONE NADDA.

  no matter how much you want to avoid it...crying is necessary sometimes.

  for me, i need help with it....too many distractions in my life.

  i almost have to plan crying....so for me music aides in releasing emotion, helps me just be me for an interval of time.

  Did/Does God answer your prayers?

  in my spiritual journey, which includes trying to decide if i still believe in god anymore or not i am beginning to question if god listened to my prayers or even answered them.

  i think i had a track record of praying more when i needed something.

  terrible i know.
