A good friend of mine has a daughter that had a lousy boyfriend & a lot of trouble. She has since gotten the opposite of the fiend boy friend & is doing super!

With all that in mind, my family & a bunch of good friends from all over the country & their families will be gathering in a Southern state for a wedding. The invitations have gone out a few months ago, the reservations are all set, & it is sure to be a joyous occasion for all!

I saw the VH1 show last night. I could not find fault with it. The good thing is it will reach a younger audience & be repeated. Spread the word! I'm sure you will get the usual argument: "He wasn't baptized. They weren't strong in the truth. They were only studying. They fell away & look what happens to those that leave!"

Same thing every time one of their own goes ape shit. Nobody wants to know them all of the sudden.

we have just gotten home from sunday-meeting, when my mom ask me if i believe in god and so on.

so i tell her, cause you adviced me to be honest.

and despite all my fears, she took it very calm, and then told my dad whos also taking it calm, and it doesnt seem like theyre hating me now or want to throw me out of the house.. the thing is.

most 15 year olds are easily manipulated. They don't have fully developed thinking patterns. They don't have the experience to ignore idiots. Whether Filip is easily lead isn't he whole problem ...

This is totally untrue and ridiculous! I knew when my mother got into this jw nonsense when I was 13 years old that it was insanity & was not healthy. 13 year olds can actually think, and are conscious! He is young, but he is not stupid. You insult his reasoning abilities.

I need to make a very important decision

ok in 5 months i could move out of the house, when i turn 18 on may 5, with my teacher who offered me to stay for a few months until i go to college or i could room with my friend whose got an apartment not far from here.

or i could stay at home starting at june 1 i wont have anything to do with this religion except ill have to pay my own bills and such.

now i just got accepted to texas a&m and university of texas, and i want to go to ut but my parents wont support me for that.

It sounds to me like your parents (your dad in particular) is trying to manipulate you into a position of being dependent on them for financial assistance for your education.

How soon do you have to send in your FAFSA application? If you can delay sending an application until you are living on campus or in an apartment of your own, you should be able to claim as independent at that point. Is there any way you can work and put some money of your own aside to get you started and tide you over until FAFSA funding comes through once you are on your own?

Right on Scully. If this person continues living at home & the parents won't co-operate or pay, it ain't happening. Typical jw move, isn't it, try and manipulate & control everyone around them. What a shame! The financial aid system needs an overhaul for people like this.

i was watching an old eddie murphy hbo special a few weeks ago where he was talking about relationships.

in his bit, he went off on how all men cheat on their wives and girlfriends.

he was adamant that even the nicest of guys will take the opportunity to cheat if given the chance and that women need to understand that this is the way it is, 100% of the time.
