The Kingdom Halls may not provide rooms to accomodate kids like "Babylon the Grape" does, but go to any district convention and you'll find areas where parents take their kids when they get restless... those places are always packed. Truthfully, the parents want to be there more than the kids!

hide in the toilets, no one can collar you and tell you off.
and even better you won't be in amongst a group of people but still feeling so alone... at least you will actauly be alone!.

I used to listen to Rush all the time and still hear him about 5 or 6 hours a year. He's TOO much of a Republican for me, though. I'm an independent, not a Party idealogue.

Holy cow. The last time I checked on this thread not a single person had replied to it. I just assumed no one was even interested in it. You had to go back several pages of other threads just to find this one. I just want to thank everyone for their responses. I wish I could say that narrow minded intolerance was a thing of the past, but it lives and breathes every day in the form of our very neighbors- people I care about but who make me sad at the same time. Pitiful.

I have a JW friend who I watch sports with. His wife is not a dub. He has a daughter from a previous marriage who is gay. I merely happened to mention that I read Michael J. Fox's biography and the conversation immediately went south. "He was on that show 'Spin City'. They had a gay character on there. He didn't have to be a part of that! It was disgusting what he did in front of Congress to promote stem cell research!"
Anyway it just proves to me how people really do buy into what Fox News reports, which is really sad. MJF is sick, for God's sake. And who gives a shit what someone's sexuality is?

by alanv injust looked through some of the largest populations in the world and ten of them add up to 3,500,000,000. how many witnesses serve these 10 countries.
no more than 60,000. the largest are china and india which together have around 2.5 billion people.
so is the jw good news being spread earthwide.
