Having gone to the last DC I realized how much I love a lot of people within the borg. But I also realized how much I hate listening to the talks.
I've come up with two or three strategies on how to deal. One is to take advantage of the borg by going to a foreign language congregation. That way I could learn something practical (another language) while at the same time not knowing half of the drivel being said from the platform until I get fluent (at which time I could get out).
Another strategy I'm considering is to just be honest and tell my wife that hey, I love the brothers but I just don't believe it's the truth anymore.
Of course the third option is to either fade or just disassociate completely (which might be best for my child).
What do you think of these options?

Looking around this site there are a share of atheists. I totally understand that in a way. Much of religion is b.s. Much of my life reflects an agnostic view.
For myself though, I still believe in God. I believe in Jesus. Because of WT upbringing I'm not sure if they are the same. My mind rejects the Trinity doctrine and Hellfire. I do believe in an immortal soul though and I think I always have. As far as what "Babylon the Great" is, I welcome your opinion.
Some people have said "In Search Of Christian Freedom" helped them move on in their spiritual recovery from the WT Society. What are your thoughts on this book and its effect on your views? I read "C o C" but haven't read this one yet.
I have heard non JWs express the belief that we are in the last days because of all of the strange weather, high gas prices, the unstable stock market, etc. They believed that "the rapture" will come, a concept that I also reject because of WT upbringing. What do you make of all of these things?
I feel great to have my eyes opened to the WT's baloney but now I tread carefully in the evolution of my beliefs. Like the Who said, "We don't get fooled again!"

i still comment and give my talks.. anyway, some of my friends are getting word about me being investigated, some in my family too.
a couple i used to preach with every week no longer call me and bug me to join them.
