I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates the change. For the record, I'm under 50. What I miss the most is seeing so many thread titles at once. Now I see two or three and have to scroll down to see maybe two more. Not a fan. -

seriously, one says "jehovah's witnesses: discuss anything watchtower or jw.org related" and the next one says "watchtower/jw.org: discuss anything watchtower or jw.org specific".

Genuine repentance - if you can fake that you'll avoid getting disfellowshipped
by slimboyfat into paraphrase a well known saying.
is it true, in a judicial committee, if you can fake repentance, then they are likely to let you off being disfellowshipped, almost regardless of the "severity" of the sin involved?
can former elders and perhaps victims of the process shed light on the matter?

My wife felt guilty about our premarital fun and so we ended up in a judicial meeting. I read the elder's manual before I went so I knew exactly what they wanted to hear. My wife knew I didn't believe in "the truth" anymore so I think she was shocked that I wasn't disfellowshipped. She probably thought the holy spirit would kick in and expose me as an evil apostate but it never happened. I got a slap on the wrist and went on with my life.

Social media strategy to expose JW molestation issues
by JimmyPage inthere are a lot of jws who will never hear about the molestation issues the wt has because all their friends on social media are fellow cult members.. what i'm going to attempt is to create a profile for an alter ego.
it will have a profile pic and banner that says "jw.org" or some other pro-jw nonsense.. then i will attempt to befriend a jw.
when one bites and accepts me the others will fall like dominoes and also accept my friendship.. at first i will post pro-jw things that will get me "likes", subscribers, and promotions in their news feed.. then i will lower the boom by posting the recent news video from the texas molestation story.

Update: Within 1 week I made over 260 JW friends from around the world. Then I posted an ABC news link to the 13.5 million dollar suit and took One Eyed Joe's advice by saying, "I don't understand. I left the Catholic Church because of these kinds of things." Then in the comments I posted a link to the 28 million dollar Conti suit and said, "So confused."
The comments I received were: "Sometimes things happen and Jehovah will make sure the right things happen we serve Jehovah by man."
" There will be people who are bad and disgusting where ever go. The scripture says Satan is misleading us all. It's up to you not to be part of this world. Don't allow things like this to stumble you. "
" Satan is like a Lion he wants to take as many with him, being a Witness is a way of life to life ever lasting, I pray for the family as I pray for the person who committed this act. Jehovah will take care of this. "
