The doctrine is constantly changing..Why?? Why the constant new light theory?
Refer to Malachi 3:6 and rethink, why the change..

Religion is a "Scam & a Racket".
no matter what they say, they're never really wrong.
misstatements serve a purpose!
they always reinvent their words or simply deny ever teaching certain things.. the witnesses are not a humble group of christians.

Forget your meds?
last night, during the congregation bible study, the conductor (overseer?
) used this as a platform to say that the movie avatar is of satan and no christians should see it.. .
he said that he googled the (original) meaning of the word avatar and it was of hindu religious origin.
It's all part of their control tactic and it appeals to the stoopid ones..what a bunch of F*CKIN idiots!!
saints win.

Suck the Faints...
within the past decade, two elders stepped down in my old congregation.
actually one was taken off for commiting adultery and therefore reproved, but the other one simply stepped down for no apparent reason.
also, in another congregation i used to attend for a short time, i was shocked to hear of another elder stepping down, again for no apparent reason.. i am wondering if there has been an increase in the number of elders stepping down for no obvious reason and to see if this is a worrying trend causing alarm for the society.. i am thinking the past 10 years, particularly with the internet being available to so many people around the world today; but have you experienced many elders stepping down in your congregation or past congregation?
I didn't know of anyone until after I had left. I heard one pretty strong in da shit stepped down due to psychological problems. I always thought this guy was mental but then again they all are. I knew this guy personally and would have never thunk he would step down.
i have been away from this forum for so long i almost forgot my password.
lol.
i didn't need it anymore.
Well said OOTB and glad to hear from you. I wondered where you've been but I also don't come here like I once did. The last I heard you were going to work from within the borg to get people out.
i enjoyed reading these points.
in the second list of "real reasons", it was points #2 and #3 that first struck me, after leaving the jws.. .
why do people abandon the christian faith?.
You can't abandon what there isn't..
i know some posters here went through or are going through some painful things right now because of no longer believing when they have a husband / wife that still does.
others were able to free the minds of their spouse.
i'm assuming the latter is a lot more rare.. anyone that wishes to share their story, please do.. i'm looking to pass the info on to someone who doesn't totally believe, but may marry a jw.
Teetering......
i've mentioned before---i'm all "religioned" out!.
i don't have a certain set of beliefs yet i still hope there is a god and contrary to what some have assumed, i'm not an agnostic or athiest (yet)..
My current belief is no belief..
hello all you scary apostates.
ill try to be brief, prob could do a whole topic on each point.. i was born a jw, one of 7 kids.
my mum ruled house with iron fist (whole story just there) we were the perfect jw family, never missed fs or meetings all baptised at magic age of 14, all pioneered.
Welcome God Chick!
