every day either on the way to work or coming home i pass people with signs begging on the side of the road.
i'm curious if anyone here gives them money....i have from time to time, i tend to give more to women then men...i suppose i identify more with them...a kind of "under different circumstances that could be me" feeling i get... .

I can't make it from the train station to work without encountering a begger. There's this guy who's been begging for money cause he needs a train ticket to Portland Maine. He's been going to Portland for almost 6 months now. Only suckers give money. Everyone has a story....

Another nite at work, thinking how to get the elders back...
by dustyb ini remember a post a few days ago titled "have you ever gotten back at the congregation/elders" or somethin like that.
and now.....i think i have the answer.
all these elders think they can go around, saying their shit doesn't stink and disfellowship anyone who disagree's with them or the organization, or if they "get ahead of jehovah".

How about writing a letter of dis-association and sign it with the elders name. Mail it to Brooklyn with the elders return adress on the envelope and watch the fun begin. I'd like to see him explain that one to the other elders once word gets back to them.
