Gopher, you're right. I know of the humanists official organization. And I must agree with the discrimination going on towards atheists. What can one say, everything with tradition goes right? However, that's not what I'm looking for. I'm talking about a community where one can post pictures and write in eachothers guest books. Much like myspace or facebook, but for atheists in particular. However, there might already be such a group or sub-network available on the sites I just mentioned? Are you guys member of any community and/or any subgroup in particular?

Suggestions for JW Girlfriend?
by Mincan inso i've been seeing this jw girl for a couple weeks now... she kind of contacted me out of the blue (i've known her since i was 4, shes two years older than i) and wanted to hook up for coffee or something.
i avoided it for about half a month.
not really avoided it, but was going to have fun with it when it came, because i thought she was just going to try to encourage me to go to meetings and whatnot.. so, first time she calls me up at like 9:30pm on a weeknight to come over to her house... so i ride my bicycle over and go inside and she and her cousin were getting drunk on alcohol and they started getting me to drink.

Mincan, I can't read in your text if she did use drugs or not. You said in one of your replies that she "used mind-altering substances" and hence I assume she did smoke some weed too. I feel that she is on her way out. I mean no believer of the Christian God and the JW-system do drugs and have sex like that. She's definitely on her way out, however, watch out for being used as the exit door. I have been used in two different ways in two different relationships and I'm not saying that all women are bad, I think that a lot of men are using women for the very same reasons. But this is my main point also, people use each other for more or less subtle reasons! So take note of momzcrazy: "Sounds like she is using you as a means to rebel. You've known each other a long time, so there is a sense of security for her." You had knew her for a long time but it wasn't until recently she almost pulled you away for a cup of coffee and then later on did drugs and had sex with you? It sure sounds like you've been fished. So my conclusion is that she is definitely on her way out from the religion and that if you do have feelings for one another, the future might very well be bright for you, but watch out my friend. Some scorpions are dressed as puppies.

Haven't thought of that. I wonder if God will let him into paradise after using a somewhat worldy and more or less illegal network for distribution of copyright protected material.

Apostate-attack on a JW-stand in Norway (with pictures)
by AntiKrist ini was during last weekend in oslo, norway, to have an apostate meet-up.
we had the purpose of creating a new apostate association in norway.
however, guess if we didn't run into a jw-stand right next to a scientology-stand in the city centre (the text on the poster translates: "what happens to us when we die?)!.

It was the first time ever that I saw a JW-stand too. And believe me, if I lived in Norway I would be the first one to put up a true apostate-stand right next to them and make a fool out of them every single day. I mean that would just be hilarious. Having a word with a JW is one of the most funniest things I know of. Somehow one can really see when they run into the invisible wall and resets their logic processor. What I usually do is just step backwards and again read the verse or ask the question. When, and that will happen quite often, the JW gets offended I usually quote Jesus saying "Turn the other cheek around" =) Oh another favorite bible verse to use when the JW gets ready to hit the road is 1:st Peter 3:15: "[...] and be ready at any time when you are questioned about the hope which is in you, to give an answer in the fear of the Lord and without pride." At this point the witness will be really desperate ;)
Anyhow I was thinking about the stand. They were in a line with other cult-stands. When I first came to the city-centre I didn't see the JW's and was struck by the sight of one cult-stand after another. I even had the time to think of how obvious it was that all of these stands were pure sects and nothing else, it was almost as if that was the only thing they actually wanted to say. However, there in the middle of everything stood some JW's in a JW-stand offering "their truth"..

One can see in the picture above that whenever I preach to a JW they all have the bad habit of trying to pull away the bible from me. One dude who knocked on my door a nice Saturday even ran away from me without saying goodbye! After almost one hour at the door he pulled the bible from me with force and ran away! hmm I wonder why. Isn't it these guys who have "the truth"? The lady on the picture never managed to take the bible but switch to the other side of the stand instead and never said a word more.

We were three apostates that just didn't have much to lose so we did our best to save the cult members. I started my round of preaching about Gods true nature using the JW's own bible:

One apostate successfully placed a copy of Crisis Of Conscience by Raymond Franz among the JW's own literature and the funny thing is that they never noticed since my preaching kinda' pulled a crowd (we also saw a spectator starting to browse the book later!):

I had a nice biblical conversation with three JW's all in all. Much can be said about it too but the perfect blow was when one of the JW's had said that there can only be one true religion and I said that if the goal truly was a paradise then he ought to research every religion out there to be even more sure and certain about his thing. However, he then said that he "just know" that he already belongs to the one true religion and that he doesn't need to hear what other religious people have to say. Guess what I read to him then? Proverbs chapter 18 verse 13: " He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him". The JW dropped his jaw and after a few seconds he just said that "that is about all things except religion" lol.
Oh I had one more full blown punch too. After reading about slaves, violence and even pure barbaric slaughter, all which had Gods fully approval; one JW countered by mentioning the big drowning and Noah and said that all of these is just examples that one cannot question God and whatever he does - he am right about it too. However, I asked if a loving God wouldn't hate such a merciless and careless view of humans as the one this JW just presented. Wouldn't a caring God love humans who loved other humans and who couldn't see between the fingers about violence? Wasn't that what cute Jesus did when he abandoned the entire old law? I even asked if anyone present could look me into the eyes and say that "I could very well do such a thing as to drown the entire planet?" One JW laughed and replied: "What a luck then that we don't have to make such a decision". I said that those very words indeed were a statement that he, as a imperfect human being couldn't do such a thing! Once more the JW's stated with a hurry that one cannot judge God and that he is right whatever he chooses to do. I made a short break and asked: "Why do you guys keep on defending what God already has regretted, isn't that why he put up the rainbow?" You should have seen the faces! =)
