BOC: "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman is a great book. I'm going to do a post tomorrow about how this book explains the mechanics of what keeps people stuck in the Witness religion.

Here's a scenario: The "unidentified investor group" who plan on leasing out this high-end property is affiliated with the Society. This would explain selling at a loss in a depressed market as it would provide a nice income stream for the Society over time. I'm probably wrong about this, as I'm no financial whizz. Just a thought.

i know few here know me, although i know many of you through reading your posts.
maybe it is not right to ask for support, when i generally stay quietly in the background of this forum, but i want only to speak a human misery of the deepest kind.

I need your advise))
by thomyorke inme and my friends have already organized "association of former jehovahs witnesses.".
we want to stand for rights of ex-jw's, and those who are still suffer in organization and almost blind.. now we make some interviews on a television, take part in some lectures about how dangerous jw could be, keep in touch with "worldly" relatives, who want to save their family members.... in russia we still dont have a kind of psychological help, hotline or office.
we planning to establish this.
