What To Think Of Mr. Scott McClellan?

mcclellan has recently published a book that is highly critical of bush and his administration.

mcclellan's book has understandably created a furor within the current presidential administration, an administration that has valued loyalty above all else.. mcclellan was a long-time bush loyalist, he started working for bush when bush was still govenor of texas.

mcclellan helped bush to enter the white house, and then followed bush to washington mcclellan became a spokesman for bush, defending the president on such issues as the war in iraq.

From reading a few of your posts, I think that I know where "you are going with this." Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me that you are waiting for a theocracy to be established.

Democracy: Democracy is a government mixed with the people, as in people of that kingdom have a say as to whom their leaders will be, and vote upon the laws that they see fit to stand. You notice in Daniel that it will be a divided kingdom. You can break a kingdom in two by raising the proper voice to cry out and gather the masses to stand behind them. Even if the law they support is wicked the opinon of the masses will win if they vote upon it and gain the most votes. In America we have the freedom to do what GOD does not allow.

And yes I am waiting for the Kingdom of GOD to come into full power. It has been established and is crushing all of these other kingdoms. And you say that nothing is forever, well I have to disagree. This Kingdom will last forever and those that obide by its rule will last forever as well. I tell you Truly that this Kingdom is not a myth and it will be proven in your lifetime.

40 Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. 41 Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42 As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.

Is there anyone here formerly of the "Annointed"?

i'm sure this question has been asked here before, but i was wondering if someone would care to enlighten us as to the undeniable "sign" or occurence that makes folks believe that they are of the annointed class?.

....or am i asking too personal a question?.

i've always been really curious as to what happens to these people to make them believe this beyond a shadow of a doubt.. apparitions?.

Jim Carrey is anointed?

Jim Carrey actually had an experience that related to the movie. Jim Carrey is chosen not anointed. People misunderstand the meaning of being anointed. You cannot be anointed unless you represent GOD in some way upon the earth like King David, a high priest etc. etc.

Biblical evidence against 1914

in god s holy word the bible you can find evidence that god s kingdom was not established in 1914. and according to the prophecies it will be estblished later in the future.

and we can not calculate the time point.

in acts 1:7 the apostles asked " lord, are you restoring the kingdom to israel at this time?

That is why this move by the WTS away from the home Book Studies is suspicious. The WTS is very organized at the Book Study level which could be a threat. That important level of networking will cease to exist by the 1st of the year, then everything can be monitored and controlled by a fewer key people at the congregation level, which is an effective level as well to shut down the religion.

The only one that will be shutting down religion is Jesus Christ. He will unify all faiths in The Kingdom of God. Your mind thinks in a conspiracy. I agree that there are conspirators out there and secret organizations, however the WTS is not going to be attacked by the wild beast. You are too much caught up into their way of thinking and need to separate yourself from their mindset.

Ponder over this for a minute if you would. The holy ones are of the Islamic faith who do not believe in Jesus Christ. Some Jews as well do not believe in Christ, but their government is backed by the United States. I was once a member of the w.t.s. and have been Christian for quite some time. It was not until after the 911 attacks that I pretty much became a hated person. It was because of my appearance and the link to those in the Middle East by origin. It made me wonder why as one of J.W,'s I was not hated being Christian but however I was after being percieved that I might be Middle Eastern.

It made more sense to me that their religion is the hated ones by all the nations and their religion is being scorned by many people worldwide. So I focused more on the events in the Middle East as fulfillment of prophecy and left the liars behind. The nation of Islam or Muslims are whom Jesus was referring to not any other religion.

God And Beauty

so - what is beauty?.

if you stop walking you can avoid falling.. { you are able to compute some probability that the pattern "people who walk off a cliff get hurt" might apply to this situation.

So - beauty does not imply God; our sense of beauty could have evolved from natural selection. Which is terrific, because as an idea natural selection is quite beautiful!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have to admit that I quickly browsed your posting. I have an ADD when it comes to reading something that might not enlighten me. I have a limited amount of time in the old world and live in the next one.

GOD creates beauty in perfection. Beauty is found in symmetry. Why is it one leg is shorter than the other? That is imperfection. I am a photographer and I photograph very attractive people. Some people with above average looks get more attention than those not so attractive. However beauty can be found in the heart which is stronger than any outward beauty. In paradise all will come to perfection and beauty. Some people use their beauty for selfish gain as the weaker ones that are attracted to beauty look up to them.

What I truly find beautiful in a female is one that is modest in appearance. She might be the most stunning in appearance, however if she flaunts her beauty unworthily she makes herself ugly, or unattractive. I love the way women adorn themselves in the muslim faith and also those in the Middle East. That is beauty to me, the color of the garments and the modest way they carry themselves. But that is me.

Are you male or female if you do not mind sharing this with me?

Testing the waters, advice?

i know a fellow who like me, was born into the jws.

his father (a long time elder) and mother are both hard core jws.

What would you all do in this situation? Would you go ahead and contact him and talk about this, or would you play it safe and keep up the charade of being a believing JW?

Why start off a relationship with deception. Talk with him and get to know him. You can honestly say that you are not 100% convinced that all they teach is completely true. It is better to keep silent then to tell a lie. Express your thoughts openly and ask those that are taking the lead questions without being hateful. There are many strong spiritual people in the organization and I have met many loving ones that I treasure. Worship in spirit and truth and do not deliberately break the laws of God. You are serving your Heavenly Father not man.
