  This written article has a flair condescending bias within it as the woman spoken about came from a dedicated Christian family but rejected the religion rebelled against her parents and eventually got sent to prison. Sounds a bit ad hominem doesn't it ?

  The article was probably written by an anti abortion promoter, the Observer web site is run by college students.

  I think the abortion laws were too openly liberal and not regulated enough as there were people who were abusing and exploiting the law as it was introduced..

  I also think just because this person was brought up in a JW family and may have participated as a acting JWs at one time give that person some moral superiority or awareness to social justness and equality.

  It would appear that the Worldly institutions including higher education, man made governments and charities none of which the JWS religion supports, is actually saving lives .

  JWs are just awaiting a free and easy ride to paradise and they apathetically dont care about the rest of humanity, they can all die with Satan but they will take all the luxury homes and possessions these soon to die people have.

  why do the elders always stress to the rank and file members of the congregation how important meeting attendance is, as well as the importance of always paying attention to every word that's being presented from the slave?

  but then, during the meeting, they rarely sit and pay attention themselves to the wonderful spiritual banquet being presented?

  Franz was one the biggest lying fraudsters of the pact of the Watchtower Corporation (Religious Publishing house) of the time.

  He spear headed the 1975 doctrine which was a concocted fraud in itself devised from using once again the dating calculation of 6000 years of mankind's existence ending in October 1975.

  This was used previously by the organization in the early 1900's and again in the early 1940's.

  i did this in my facebook group for my podcast and it was fun.. so what's the craziest thing you ever saw?.

  for me it was watching a brother have a heart attack during the meeting in the auditorium.

  i was a kid and noticed him shaking and acting strange.

  A mother and daughter kneeling doing the holy cross over their chests, they thought they were in a Catholic church which actually across the street.

  A really old guy who smelled really bad from not bathing enough and wore a old suit that was probably never cleaned.

  He also had a habit of farting during the meeting .

  It got to be known about the guy in the congregation so people were trying to not sit too close to him.

  Nice guy though, always had candies for the kids.

  Do Jw's Dress up in meeting clothes for Zoom meetings?

  i am just curious if anyone knows whether the "friends" still are required to wear "meeting clothes" for attending meetings through zoom?

  such emphasis on dressing in a godly manner over the decades, would be interesting if some attend in pajamas or their work clothes, no makeup, etc....

  Repercussions for sexual immorality

  hello, i was hoping to get some clarification about how people are disciplined for immorality as a jw.

  i became involved with a co-worker a few years ago, she was fairly aggressive and she initiated a physical relationship very quickly.

  at the time i did not know she was married and a jw.

  By the information you offered you are not the love of her life.

  For that reason alone you shouldn't invest your emotions and heart to someone who isn't responding in kind.
