  i was 16 years old when i got baptised - 1992 - it was at one of the two day assemblies.

  only a few of us got baptised.

  i pulled out the pictures - there i stood proudly with a friend of mine in our cosies (shirts over) towels wrapped around us.

  I started in 2002, was baptized in 2004, and out by 2008!! My baptism was denied 3 times starting from 2002!!!

  i've noticed that jws tend to shy away from debates.

  when brought on the table for a debate, they don't debate, but rather preach to others instead.

  i liken this to how a lot of fake martial arts schools teach their students.

The great cleansing doesn't start with the "world" but right among those claiming to be "God's people", so there is no "spiritual paradise" until after this cleansing. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you." Does the watchtower encourage us to use our God given gift of independent thinking? Does it encourage what the Bible tells us we should do, and test out what they teach?

  700 million babies to be slaughtered

  the world population increases by 70 million each year.. this means that on the day armageddon strikes, at least 700 000 000 babies under the age of 10 wil be slaughtered.. 192 000 of these will be less than 24 hours old, many of them killed with their head barely hanging out of their mothers vagina.. how can the witlesses love a god that would do this - even long for it??.

  it strikes me that for the witlesses morality is entirely relative.. i well remember the kingdumb song: "some paint god cruel" (wt does!!!).

  Why does BETHEL NOT ALLOW district and circuit overseers to get-together.

  some time ago a district overseer i know decided to have a social gathering of the do and co's.

  after a district convention.

  when bethel found about it, the do was told to, and did cancel it immediately.. i have often wondered why they don't want the do's and co's to socialise.. what do you think?.

  this is a topic i hadn't thought much about until zep brought it up on the bible research forum, i thought i'd drag it over here.. what would happen in your opinions?

  would there be a "old timer" sect with all of the traditional teaching?

  how 'bout a sect that is more interested in blood reform, along with relaxing the df policy?

  i remember reading...i think it was ray franz's book (how is ray anyway?

  ) that the gb said that the sheep "couldnt be trusted" to do anything voluntarily and therefore they couldnt stop the reporting arrangement because nobody would go.. since the statistics clearly clearly clearly indicate that going door to door doesnt work and in fact the number of hours spent bringing just one person into the organization amounts to like 8 hours a day every day for a year...youd think the society would get with the times and eliminate that method.

  and...jesus never went door to door anyway.

  In all honesty, I've met some cute ladies, and seen sexy women at some doors, so I don't regret going house to house. My absolute best experiences in preaching, have been when I was wearing my baggy pants drooping below my waist, looking relaxed, and approachable. I feel that we can evangelize even if we were butt naked on a nude beach.
