  The S.I.N.G tactic is handy for fighting back against a rapist who attacks from behind.

  S - solar plexus (breast bone)

  I - instep (inside the ankle)

  N - nose

  G - groin

  Elbow the rapist in the chest (solar plexus) Stamp your foot hard on the inside of his ankle. Elbow the rapist in the nose/face. Elbow the rapist in the groin.

  1) many who were on the destructive path have been transformed by their teachings (this includes me who was once vicious, and presumptuous and atheistic).

  2) equal monthly pay to all members of the bethel community regardless of whether they are bc members or sweepers.

  this is something that still remains as an unattainable dream for the world.

  I was criticised for watching the Dateline program on the two witness rule used to cover up the pedophile problem in the WT. I was told that this was an "apostate lie."

  Geoffrey Jackson gave testimony to the Australian Royal Commission and said that the WT uses the two witness rule to handle child abuse.

  If there is no such thing as a pedophile cover up, how can Geoffrey Jackson be making the same statement as the so called "apostates?"

  The days are gone where you had to learn the Topic of Conversation for the month, use the scriptures for the topic and remember where to turn them up in the Bible.

  i am inclined to start this thread in response to some comments made in other threads.

  i have been coming around these forum for quite some time now so whatever you find in here is not just related to something someone may have said this week.

  it can go months back as well.. i have seen many who claim to respect the belief of others but when it comes down to applying it into practice, things take a whole different tune.

  "In my opinion, JWN is a fantastic asset for all those who are sitting on the fence or simply on the early stages of doubting the Watchtower Organization. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of anonymous JWs are lurking and reading the threads on this forum, trying to make an accessment about what the so-called "apostates" are saying. There is the potential to make a lot of good in helping these people. But when confrontational people use this forum to bully others, beating them to a pulp just because they hold a different opinion than their own (or even a neutral opinion), then the potential to scare and terrorize those lurkers is also huge. These people who are fearfully secretly disobeying the GB and looking at dissenting views may be discouraged because they may fear to be ridiculed and bullied and will quickly retract to the 'safety' of the Organization. The hateful attitude of some here will only validate their fears that apostates are bitter, angry and hateful people. So, in fact, those bullies are doing a favor to the Watchtower and the Governing Body." - Eden

  boy oh boy did i feel paranoid at today's wt.

  not only are we to watch our associations outside of the congregation, but also watch our associations 'within' the congregation.

  this was emphasised by the wt study conductor.

  WT says that the "spiritual paradise" is supposed to supercede the family bonds. At the same time, everyone in the "spiritual paradise" is supposed to be paranoid and watch out for everyone else.
