Open mind-
all your 'alternatives' could be interpreted as 'paradise' in one form or another, all beating the option of death and inexistence. My point exactly.
i've always wanted to ask this question to those that have decided to leave the organization.. what will you do when the great tribulation begins?.
right now folks, a lot is happening in the political world.. gordon brown (prime miniter of england) last week gave a speech to the un stating that it is time for the un to step in and solve the world's problems, (specifically mentioning the economy and hunger crisis worldwide.).
barrack obama is shaping up to be the next president, a fellow who sure knows how to persuade and lead great crowds.

exnjjw-
You mentioned flicking god off on your way out. I assumed you were angry at god.
AK-Jeff-
you could be right, i might be sincerely wrong, but the bible is clear on the events during the last days, and there is too much evidence outside the Watchtower that supports the scripture.
By the way, thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt.

momzcrazy,
Your children will be in paradise, Jesus Christ himself promised it. I lost my brother and i would give anything to embrace him again. And I will, Jehovah has promised me. This gift of resurrection is a blessing, don't you think so? I am sorry if i offended you, but the scripture is clear in regards to God's promise concerning our dead loved ones.
Jehovah himself chose us and allowed his own son to die a disgracefull and terrible death. Our life now, (wether its considered fortunate to be alive or not, depending on personal circumstances) is not the epitome of our personal existence. That will come VERY soon, when we join our loved ones and worship God forever.
However, I know that no words can ease our pain. (I know it doesn't for me when I deeply meditate on my dear brother). But the alternative is there; what better choice is there? I've yet to find one.

I guess the concensus is that it doesn't matter. Exnjjw even sounded mad. (at God himself, which is shocking to me at least.)
Regardless of what the Watchtower has stated, Jesus DID warn us of this imminent occurrence (Great Tribulation). If you could, wouldn't you rather live with your family or your friends forever, rather than just a short time? I mean if you really loved them?
The fact is that Jehovah promises an alternative to death and inexistence. I wonder why anyone would opt for the opposite.

Newyork,
The disgusting thing is the UN, offered to man by Satan as the alternative to Jehovah's Kingdom.
When it is 'given its teeth' by the governments of the world it will take its seat where it ought not to.
Is this what you understand?

Does that mean that you feel that all there is, is your current life and current circumstances?

Hello,
I've always wanted to ask this question to those that have decided to leave the organization.
What will you do when the Great Tribulation begins?
Right now folks, A LOT is happening in the political world.
Gordon Brown (Prime miniter of England) last week gave a speech to the UN stating that it is time for the UN to step in and solve the world's problems, (specifically mentioning the economy and hunger crisis worldwide.)
Barrack Obama is shaping up to be the next president, a fellow who sure knows how to persuade and lead great crowds. No doubt he will be the other 'horn' of the beast that gives life to the UN, as Brown has already made his ideas and plans clear.
If you look carefully, Freemasonry (sun worshipping) has laid the foundation to begin executing their 'secret' plan to give life to the UN, it in turn substitute all currency with one, and finally substitute all religions with the Craft (or Freemasonry).
This fulfillment clearly follows the scriptural prophecy.
The 'sign' that Jesus communicated to his apostles is becoming incredibly intense (pains of birth) and the situation cannot possibly get better now. We've reached apparently a climatic point in history.
What will you folks do if you feel distanced from our God Jehovah and this Great Tribulation begins?
hello guys!.
as you know, my wife woke up about a month and a half ago.
recently, by "mistake", we talked with her mother, (a hard-core believer) some details that we shouldn't at this moment.
The truth redpill is that your wife's mother has had the same internal reaction as your father. The difference is how each handled the reaction.
Your wife's mother fears the same effect that your confusion will have on both of you. Her actions are her attempts to 'protect' you both.
Strip the episode down and you end up with the same intention as your father's.
back in 1959 i became best friends with a fellow who was instrumental in my becoming a jehovah's witness.
yesterday i attended his mother's funeral.. from the time i was 12 years old i became a part of johnny's family and got to know his mother, jennie, very well.
in fact, she was more instrumental in convincing me there was intellectual merit to the reasoning process of consulting the bible and drawing jw conclusions than any of the arguments johnny and i had.. fast forward a bit.
Terry,
What you saw in these people was your interpretation.
Obviously they would have carried themselves in a solemn and saddened manner, they've just lost a close and loved member of the congregation.
Were you to have lost such a member of your family, the effect would be very visible as well.
What you did not see nor were unable to comprehend was what their hearts felt. At least not completely.
Did you (in your consideration of the event) ask yourself what will happen when you are faced with the certainty of death? I believe this was the point of the conclusion of the discourse; to reflect on our own and personal existence, and how our current decisions affect it in the long term.
The final conclusion to this examination is a mute point.
The Watchtower has always advised to keep on the watch and to stay alert.
Your conclusion just underlines the fact that each person (obviously) decides how to interpret or carry out that advice.
It is logical to assume that one must carry on while in this system of things without giving into it. That is all that Jesus requested in his words. Do not fall asleep.
