Just relaxing, having eaten some steamed veggies and brown rice with Bragg's Liquid Aminos. First time I did that for breakfast. Not bad.
Planning a nice power walk around Chambers Creek. Probably won't run into any JW's this morning though. I always say Hi if I do.
Btw Lois, the chorus frogs (aka tree frogs) started right on schedule this year, the first of March. I have also been enjoying the "screech" sound from a heron that has taken up residence in the wetland, I hear him intermittenly throughout the night when he feeds. I have caught him early on a few mornings.

A question for those that have been around this board for a long time
by JeffT inmy wife and i stopped going to meetings in 1988 and da'd in 1989. for a few years we both actively participated in the xjw world, she quit doing that a long time ago, and has pretty much completely moved on.
the other night i told her about my planned blog (which will probably launch this weekend) it will mostly be about my writing, a lot of which is mostly about jw related issues.
she asked why i am still so drawn to this subject.

I'm not really a long time poster either. I've been here for a few years though. I have to say that when people refer to themselves as having 'moved on' I wonder if they think that others have not moved on. I think people are moving on all the time, I know I am and I think others are too. Some people might be on this forum and other ex JW forums for a lot of hours, some just check in to see whats going on. It's kind of like the newspaper, you pick out things that appeal to you to read and then 'move on'. Some people use ex JW-ism interests more than others. Maybe it just interests them more like car forums or travel forums or food/health forums might to someone else. It's informative, validating and as someone said therapeutic.
This community is serving a great cause. Thank goodness for all the long time posters and new ones.

you read the title correctly.. my daughter is a prosecutor who right this moment is prosecuting a dui crash with major injuries.
the defendant--the drunk driver--just tried to place an awake magazine with her while both of them were in the courtroom.. .

That's funny, who knows what this guy is thinking. Some kind of nut case anyway.
Btw, JT has not only one but two very successful daughters. We were in the same congo and I can vouch for everything she says.

This might not be what you meant but....I decorate my porch with the 4 seasons. Tastefully of course. i remember when I used to go dorp a door (a spanish sister called it that :), it took away the boredom to see how some "householders" would design their entry.
I'm not sure that I would have done this normally, although I like landscape planning so who knows.
