The last American houswife has retired.

nine days ago, skallywagger, aka, sf, sent me the following nasty message: um, we are not impressed with wt literature apologists.
please stop promoting it.. thank you, kindly.
The little girl in the picture did use the right body language. I think if a child who was unable to read could, possibly, look at the picture and have an idea of what she could do.
education (not necesarily structured classroom and not necessarily college) is really the key to everything.\.
skyrocketing birthrates go down when the women get educated about birth control and disease.
even where such education is freely available, birthrates go down further when the women go to college and wait to have babies.
When I was a teen I used to watch the typical shows of the era, 77 Sunset Strip, Twilight Zone, Roaring 20's, and others. At the end of the shows I always watched the credits, there were only men's names except for hair dressers. I could do hair, no problem, I just didn't want to. BTW I'm 62. I figured my life, as far as making any kind of mark was concerned was nil. I also did not have a family environment that nurtured any kind of success. I was provided with a roof and food but I was not nurtured to reach for anything. I really can't think of any nudge or encouragement from my parents to strive for anything. There was a measure of love even though alcoholism and mental problems were part of my parents cumulative problems. Thank god I was not physically abused, I certainly could have been a candidate for worse than what I put up with. I guess what I mean to say is if only I had an education I could have been a contender.
If nothing else, just tell your kids how fantastic they are. They will believe it and run with it.
i have been invited to share it on radio.on healing exjws by agustin astacio.

I saw a video of you once awhile back. I loved how you came across. I would never have considered you "mouthy", just honest. Not that there is anything wrong with mouthy. I love that too. How cool to have you on this forum.
our 12 year old daughter has been very unhappy lately (middleschool blues) and i tried to think back on the things that have made me unhappy in my 60+ years of life-.
i condensed them down to five categories- let's see if you good jwn'ers can come up with any categories i missed--.
you have lost/missed something important and can't get it back.
You have been misunderstood, or lied about.
i got this email this morning and thought i would pass the info on to those who want to take a look.
the info is geared to the us so some things may need further research if you dont live in the us but i think most might be very helpful to some.. .
the international cultic studies association (icsa) is proud to welcome starting out in mainstream america by livia bardin, an online resource for people who have left cults, their families and friends, and professionals working to help them.. .
Worked for me.
Seems like this would be a great book for any young person who for whatever reason didn't get all the education that they needed.
hi friends, this will be my first easter and i would like to make it memorable.
i have a 9 year old son.
any ideas?.
When I was a poor little Catholic girl living with troubled parents who wanted to try (actually they just drank too much), we had Easter baskets that my mother saved every year in the attic and brought out to refill with candy every Easter. She wrapped them with colored celophane and a ribbon and she hid them. I remember one year mine was in the dryer. It was really special.
lets's go!!.
.
suffocating.
