  Do you believe that a woman has to be married to be happy?

  i'm just wondering because i was raised to believe that a woman should get married and have children.

  i think that this is an out-dated philosophy and that girls shouldn't be taught that they have to be in a marriage to be complete.

  please, discuss.

  How much of the Damage do you hide here?

  its true many of you, myself included come here and express how we feel, but do you ever disguise how damaged an individual you are, even in real life?

  sometimes i wonder (aside from here) whether people really can grasp what it means to have grown up in a world that means nothing now and isnt even relevant.

  You guys probably think I am far more damaged than my' worldly" friends. I live a pretty good life in general. I think I just come here to vent to others who would have some sort of clue what my "issues" are.

  The Revelation book

  i have heard the revelation book is being studied for the 4th time since it's release in 1988. we studied it once before i left in 1992. is it the same edition or has it been revised a few times?

  There were minor changes to the 2006 version. The changes were highlighted in a KM prior it being studied this time around. After conducting book-study's 2 times with this book I really did not care enough to even note the changes. I believe it was mostly updating figures( same garbage though) Correct me if I'm wrong.

  The canned answers at meetings illustrate this point perfectly. I have spoken to at least a dozen JW about the new meaning of "The Generation" and only one, an Elder, actually even grasps the change. I swear they are nothing but programmed robots that are only running some obsolete program and everyone watching can not understand why they won't upgrade their software.

  hey all,.

  just thought i'd check out all the hoopla with this site.since i can't phone home without my parents being on here and talking to me at the same time.. anyone elses parents huge apostates?

  i keep telling my mom my dad she write a book on jw's,all he needs are some good typing skills and he'd be off.. i am wondering if anyone knows about any support groups for addicted computer users?
