by scotsman inis indeed apparently nigh as another poster predicted along with the end of the weekly bs.
not sure when this should take place but i'm reliably informed by a family member that one of the uk's overseers was talking about it fairly recently.
reduced to weekend visits by an outside but local elder instead.. i have no further info..

All the changes. Piecing it together.
by DisconnectingDrone inpart of my job involves calculating what businesses in the uk are doing and forecasting growth and reasons behind the changes.. applying my knowledge with other bits of info here is what i suspect is going on.
firstly, the magazines, we get a public and a private edition of the wt and 1 awake.
that's 53.5 million less per month to print!

the magazines are a waste of paper.i remember 1000 unplaced mags in my basement.early morning witnessing-laundramats-bus stations-and the householder who takes them just to get rid of us.and as aformer mag servant-the leftovers.

i was unfaithful to my wife.i was dfd and divorced.i probably would have done it sooner if i didnt have a bible trained conscience.what im trying to say is that the wts did not induce me to commit adultry because of their rigidness.why do we need to dwell on the wts-why cant we just forget them and move on and fufill whatever we want to do in life?

for those who came in later in life - regardless of how many times from the podium you were instructed not to "leave the love you had at first" many of you are here because you found out the "truth about the truth" whether it was the people or doctrine or combination ... and were willing to open your mind, realize the "truth about the truth" and leave.

if you can be happy as a witness-go for it.jesus is not going to destroy the rand f.he is coming to show what is truth.there is no one out there who knows exactly how god is coming at armageddon or what that entails .so we should stop condemning our fellow humans to gods wrath.a view not shared often on this site-is that there are millions of happy jws who feel that they have lived fufilled lives.

why do you need to go back?is it about serving god according to the bible or needing to be accepted by a group so that you can function?evidently you were lacking discernment and judement abilities wheather you were a witness or not.

It's official....Bookstudy is DOA
by CoonDawg inokay, so my wife and mom both got back from their public talk / wt study this evening.
my loudmouthed sister asked if there were any announcements.
the bookstudy is hereafter known as "the congregation bible study".

i remember the bookstudy was the only meeting where we could have the courage to discuss the material.but a few years ago the elders were directed at the km school to stick to a strict society outline for the meeting.now they are taking out of there hands and make everyone suffer at the police station.
