I read a couple of aforementioned books and sadly am coming to the conclusion that Christianity is a false religion.

If we tale an unbiased look at the gospels we will discover that Jesus promised he would return before THAT generation would pass away and some hearing his words would not taste death before he returns. So Jesus said he was going to return and he didn't so therefore Christianity is a false religion.

Was the Biblical Canon Directed by God?
by Chris Tann inthis is a question a sincere christian may agonize over after learning that some books of the bible were rejected by certain early christian groups, while other books that did not make the canon were accepted.
also, when one realizes that so called inspired writers of the greek scriptures quote from apocrypha, that most christians reject today, one wonders if these writings that include these quotes should even be in the bible.. it is true that when it comes to the christian greek scriptures the canon has been closed for many centuries.
also, these books have been accepted by christians ever since the second, perhaps first, century.

Wasn't Armageddon Supposed to Happen in the First Century?
by losthobbit into me it's pretty obvious from these verses.... matthew 23:36, matthew 24:34, mark 13:30 and luke 21:32.
...that jesus, talking to his disciples, told them that armageddon would happen in their generation (the first century).
just wondering if everyone else sees it this way, or have i missed something?.
