Of course if you mention this type of thing they will only give you the bums rush and play the old ,"We never said the WT was infallible", card. Now it's an invisible generation , after decades of convincing people they knew what was meant by generation giving them false hope and lies as, "meat in due season".

they believed that this generation would by no means pass away until all things were fulfilled within their lifetime.. jehovah's witnesses were suckered!

Awake article about youths who died for refusing blood transfusions
by Mrs. Fiorini indoes anyone know how i can get a copy, or several copies, of the awake magazine (i don't know the date) with the cover article featuring the jw kids that died refusing blood?
i would also be interested in any other w's or a's that had information regarding the blood issue, especially as it relates to children.. thanks.. .

I thought they recently made it a conscience matter on whether to take blood or not . The bible teach book has it as the old teaching of , blood shall not be consumed in any way . I tried my best not to create suspicion of dissent but kinda hard to do as they love to beat you over the head with dogma on it and the most you can do is either agree with what they say or put up with constant harrassment as to whether you would take a transfusion if needed , I mean jeeze , I don't need a transfusion so what's the big deal ? I don't believe a person should have to keep a church informed as to their medical procedures and quite clearly the blood mentioned in the bible is that of animals which has no use other than the one the jews used it for in their rituals. I admit I don't even make sure my butcher is kosher and all blood drained to biblical specs .

Some did make a big deal out of going this year as well , the most important day of the year (some remarked), to remember that christ died for you but not to eat and drink ,which is public declaration (according to the apostle Paul) of your belief that he did die for all mankind . Of course they technically believe it's only the 144k and nobody else can enter the covenant without horrific consequences . I'm studying with an alledged "anointed" and all I can say is that I don't believe him, he is always making up his own dogma and trying to convince me of some ridiculous nonsense .

I understood they could observe it they following month if they missed the new moon in Nisan . No matter how they do it ,it wouldn't be the scriptural observance since sundown over jerusalem would happen at different times globally and they simply go by sundown in your local area . The only way to do it correctly would be to be in jerusalem .IMO

depends on how you look at the statement made by stephen . The WTBTS believes the word spirit is just another word for life not that stephen was being resurrected to spirit life at that time . He realized he was going to die as a martyr thus guaranteeing a spot in the kingdom .

It always amazes me that there are people out there that love that kind of music , I have my own launch cast station with all kinds of oldies on it . Of course nobody really did it better than hendrix or stevie ray but there is allot of stuff they listened to and were inspired by that made them what they were.

I screw around with it myself , not a serious musician or anything but just enjoy the creative outlet of it . You've mentioned some things I never heard of with the dobro G or G wahine. Yah the list goes on for standard tune players , led zeppelin , george thoroughgood ........

avishai-- don't you play in a band around here in DFW area? Do you have a myspace where I can see show dates? Most slide payers just use regular tune , zz top and joe walsh is usually what they do .......

Christmas is gone....it always makes me so sad. :*(
by LovesDubs inthis year because thanksgiving was so very late in november, people didnt have as much time to put up and keep up their lights as they usually do.
i know its only a week's difference...but it made a difference.
before we knew it it was christmas already and now the music has stopped and the lights are coming down...and the thing i hate to see the most.... christmas trees discarded and left at the curb for the garbage man.

I'm always glad when christmas is over , I get sick of hearing about by november then it gets here and everybody is debt and miserable anyway. I agree with simon , christmas music sucks.
