  Who Do You Think The "Two Witnesses" In Revelation Are?

  who is to say the "two witnesses" from revelation are not symbolic?

  when we are dealing with revelation how can anyone as wrong as the watchtower society be so dogmatic about doctrines when it's been shown jesus christ has not revealed the "secrets that would be hidden until the last days"?

  for all i know, my opinion on this matter is as good as anyone elses opinion.

  what are the belongings that jesus comes back for.

  apparently, we were told by one of the elders at bethel who was at the annual meeting in october that the organisation was still not too sure on what those belongings are and that it would be public down the road in their publications.

  they figure it would come out in the april watchtower.

  If you go to the WT site they do say it also includes the great crowd , the whole FDS change is looking like another shot in the foot for them , now they are backing away from all the atempts made of unquestionable obedience to the john class , I think they needed to change the part where all partakers are considered FDS which is more or less damage control since some are not living accordingly and all do not deserve any judicial authority .

  this is an interesting article posted by the christian left from thw huffington post.

  i know jehovah's witnesses do not teach the rapture (except maybe for the 144,000) so all of them expect to live through the tribulation (whatever that was to them).

  I agree with the WTBTS on that one , Paul is talking to the LF and he's comparing the end time people to the ones of his time in regards to the resurrection, the end time people do not , "fall asleep", for any period of time , rather they merely have an instance of death which amount to a twinkling of the eye , It may have started already back in 1919 or something but I bet the last of the LF will not know a long intern of death , as to how the GC escape is yet to be seen if at all , could even be the mother ship coming for them ...LOL

  i apologize for not writing much of anything in several weeks.. did you miss me?

  (don't answer that!).

  i am doing pretty good now after going through the worst year of my 60 years of life... but in order to make some changes that will enable me to keep working, i really had to take time off to take care of medical issues (mostly my spine - destroyed after 30 years spending 10-12 hours a day on the computer).

  wicked men and imposters sounds like it to me , look at the latest change in the FDS dogma , unbelievable to blatantly dodge accountability like that . I believe at some point the church was interested in finding the truth but I agree with you that they became corrupted by the ring of power , shall we say .. my precious ..........

  I agree daniel prophesy's was over done but still kinda interesting from a historical kind of view . In daiel 12 it does say a time of distress as the world has never seen before will result in all that , to me it looks like the UN is playing the role of KON which as we know the NWO is about to finish it's plans from a conspiracy point of view as a means to force global governance on the entire planet under tyranny . I have to laugh people saying Islam is KON and only because the WTBTS is still affiliated with what it once called it's enemy and Gods enemy , so what we have is the scarlet beast devours the whore. UN destroys the RCC ,imo, UN goes off into destruction because of public disapproval then the US and British forces take over from there, being manipulated by the NWO ... sounds ok to me ....

  that is stupid they had her convinced to go out publically when if she were in nazi germany would done things in secret . I agree she should have put her childre first and been more cautious as the scripture say , cautious as serpents and innocent as doves . I for one don't think women need go do anything in the public preaching work .

  i understand that the objection to blood transfusions by jehovah's witnesses is purely a scriptural one.

  whether or not there are medical benefits to avoiding blood transfusions is, or should be, irrelevant.

  however, for those who are not convinced by jw understanding of the scriptures in this regard, and those who don't believe either in the bible and/or in god, the fact that blood transfusion is associated with increased mortality in heart attacks may be of interest.. a systematic search of studies published between january 1, 1966, and march 31, 2012, was conducted using medline, embase, cinahl, scopus, web of science, and cochrane central register of controlled trials databases.

  The WTBTS ban on blood is stupid , when john said do not eat blood he was talking about litterally eating it as a food not using it to save people from death from lack of blood . As we know the pagans that were converted still had the custom of eating improperly bled meat and using blood in all sorts of puddings , john recognized it as a health risk since eating blood is not healthy. It had nothing to do with the mosaic law of which jesus abolished on the torture platform ,,

  i read in a forum in spanish that there is a strong rumor spreading in the corridors of the wt.

  has anyone heard anything about this??

  the change that is emerging is this: the great crowd has not yet appeared, and it is a group that comes out of the great tribulation.

  yep they are nothing but false prophets . I don't ever remember hearing any of the GB getting thrown in prison or executed for the preaching work , jeeze they are supposed to leave all things behind and go on a crusade for christ then be murdered for the preaching work to prove yourself worthy for the LF .all I've seen is them living a comfy life in a condo in NY whilst playing some sort of promotions game for others to fight the fine fight in dangerous territories , ok fat cat why not just you be that person yourself? Then they pull the rug out from under them by becoming an NGO with the UN and now no condemnation against babylon or the beast , unbelievable , then guess what , we aren't the actual FDS in charge of anything but still FDS .. wow amazing

  didn't seem to make sense to talk about solomon there and then try to convince people that material wealth is not going to make people happy but again obedience will, as I see they don't want to use the word obedience like they used to ,thanks to this board and the spying going on, probably . Solomon is a horrible example , the song of solomon is just as disgusting with all the polygamy going on there but I'm thinking since solomon was the only son left alive he was the only one that could deliver the promise of the messiah by davids house . The apostle Paul is usually contradicting himself and jesus , jesus told the little flock to sell all their worldly possesions and give gifts of mercy to the poor and there's the apostle Paul stating it's ok to keep your stuff just keep up with the preaching work . Of course according to the WTBTS the bible doesn't contradict itself so then noone better say it does, or else . should have been a gag alert there ,lol
