so goes their mortgage racket ... the poor really need a building , huh? I think there are things way more important than that , the religion itself is only supposed to appeal to the poor , I can not see the need for owning buildings anyway , for a 2 hour meeting you are supposed to come up with all kinds of money ? complete scam to me

that's true but their belief is they are calling the people out of babylon the great so leaving their current beliefs behind is a good thing where as leaving the WTBTS beliefs is a bad thing

big deal the baptists have been a big cult for a long time , I still agree with the WTBTS on the trinity dogma , a hell where souls are tortured by demons , origins of holidays and some other things , the WTBTS is an enigma that's for sure but you have to look at each individual area of the belief to see that they are not completely wrong on all things , the other churches dislike them for their lack of patriotism mostly and their attacks on the beliefs

apparently they did not go on about the blood moon meaning something like the rest of the whores out there but I agree , thanking jesus for doing the actual work would have been appropriate , if you don't eat or drink you are not supposed to go anyway according to pauls writings since this thing was about an actual feast and those that showed up were to share their food and wine , so ridiculous they insist members to stay home from work just for the meeting so they can show how many come, in their publications .

this really is a hoax from where I see it ,they make members take the day off work just to go to an hour long meeting and are told not to participate , it was supposed to be an actual church supper where they ate and drank as jesus did with his 12 then at the end the covenent ritual took place but only after they ate their full meal , the bible says that as long as you eat and drink you are making declaration of the death of the lord but to eat and drink unworthily was unforgivable , only the individual is allowed to make the judgement call . The last time I went it was really disgusting as the resident ,"anointed", seemed more interested in telling people that the world governments were to be obeyed and were put there by jesus for him and by him(I think that scripture is a hoax) , after years of hearing the world ended invisibly and the kings of the earth have no authority ... they really make a joke out of everything.

The Bible Says the wt says.. Who should we trust?
by objectivetruth inthe bible says -.
john 14:6 - 6 jesus said to him: i am the way and the truth and the life.
no one comes to the father except through me.. jeremiah 9:4,5 "everyone, be on guard against your neighbor, and do not trust even your brother.

The WTBTS keeps changing what the bible says and never once will admit to attempting to prophesy tho they will insist on there beliefs coming from jehovah . I can't make much sense out of that stand myself , either you are speaking for GOD or not and I think the definition of prophet is, one that reveals GODS intentions. Interpretations belong to GOD

I think whenever jesus said in mathew 28;18 that all authority was given him at that time means that jesus was the universal sovereign . They do like to undersell jesus since he is the resurrection and such I think he does have a huge role in the rulership issue , right now he supposedly has power to break the nations an has the iron sceptre .

JW's Anti-Gay position puts them in the axis of ignorance
by scotoma indarkest area is most anti-gay.
perhaps they need to focus on those areas since they seem to agree with them on this issue.
jehovah.

don't think you are being fair , the WT takes it's belief of not associating with homos out of the bible . It was against the law in Israel and of course christianity teaches it's sin punishable by death at the hands of GOD during judgement day .

Where is Jesus according to the WBTS?
by Frazzled UBM ini have been reverse witnessing to a witness at work who i told about my witness wife.
i think he thinks he is well on his way to make me a study but i have asked him to provide evidence that the wbrts is what it claims to be by reference to how it was appointed and how the current gb came to inherit that authority.
but one issue we ahd was the position of jesus accordign to the wbts and he said that he sits in heaven at the right hand of jehovah planning the future.

right , what I meant was the fall of judah . You are saying the 6k years dogma from creation , much like the 7th day adventist church where they split from , technically if we look at what they said after with rutherford was that they were not appointed anyway until 1919 CE so CTR was a false prophet . armageddon of itself did start when the saints were called and the world governments oppressed the church for their lack of political support , REV16 , but it ends more or less in REV 19.IMO

I think when they said 1874 that no one knew the date for the fall of babylon so more or less a guess ,I don't think they had all the calculations to come to 1914 CE , later they concluded 607 which is still disputed by secular historians and then they add the 7 times 360 and moved forward for the end of gentile times , it took them awhile to realize WW1 was a sign of his presence and he was not going to return until after the truth was fully revealed and preached about .. I personally think that mathew 24 coincides with it even tho this religion can't seem to keep it's foot out it's mouth and lack the humility to ask for forgiveness and admit a lie even , a lie is a lie whether deliberate or other wise .
