Worshipping Elvis Unto Death

due to chat deprivation last night, i got in on the tail end of a month long biography of elvis.

the last few years of his decline due to prescription drugs was laid out in excruciating detail.

elvis was going downhill, surrounded by people that worshipped him, adored him, and cared about him.

I knew plenty of dubbies that worshipped elvis and the beatles -- yadda yadda and what about john denver for christs sakes . The word reform would only scare them off thinking you were the whore of babylon or something .I think they are waiting for "new light".

Maybe they are getting a little over zealuos with the quick builds .I wonder how many building code violations they cover up when they do this .I worked in construction for years and believe me those inspectors are never in a hurry .

any one else seen this one?.i thought it was very good about viet nam with mel gibson.the horror of war and the the display of brutality was very realistic .just wondering if any viet nam vets experieced anything close what was portrayed in this community.

I've seen black hawk down ,I did give it thumbs up but compared to what I think was far more realistic in we were soldiers not as good .If you like war movies with mel gibson I recommend we were soldiers and galipoli .

Grants--Anyone, anyone, anyone....

hello all.. i'm thinking of taking some classes (yes i know some of you will be very happy about this) and i was wondering if anyone knew of any grants i could get, or how you even go about that kind of thing???

i didn't make much money at all last year so maybe that'll help.

i wonder if there's an 'ex-fulltime volunteer of a cult,, just out wanting to get on with their life' kind of grant.
