Does anyone want to call the writing dept. or JR Brown and ask them about this? I don't quite have the cojones to follow this through (at this point) but like cameo-d said something subtle like this could be huge.

here's a thought i just had.... there are numerous places in the mags / bks etc where they say they are not inspired, don't claim to be infallible blah blah blah.... but then there's a line in the rev bk or a wt (can't remember which) where they say something to the effect that dead gb members may be 'communicating spiritual truths' to those still on earth.... does anyone remember that line or know what its from?.
that would be a great way to stumble up their pr guy...jr brown.
wonder how they would explain that!.

So with that quote..."It seems that resurrected ones of the 24-elders group may be involved in the communicating of divine truths today."
They are claiming direct contact with ressurected spirits! What hypocrasy!
I want to call JR Brown with this crap, pose as a news paper guy writing an article about JWs and get his response.
I don't know why I'm so fired up about this...I'm a loyal MS after all...elder just told me the other night they want me to boost my hours so I can be an elder.
:-(

I have not seen or heard anything new about this rumor. (COs going bye-bye) Has anyone out there with lofty connections heard anything about this?
Just curious..

they don't care if they die, as long as it's for the cause.
they will zealously implement their agenda no matter how unreasonable or ignorant it is.
if "mother" told them to become martyrs, they follow the direction.
I am still a JW, I have been having a hard time with life lately realizing that so much is BS. In fact I'm still an MS...but with all the anger I have, I am trying not to lump all JWs together and focus my anger at the men of power: russel, joe-boy, knorr, franz and the GB of today...they are the ones that created and promote this odd ball culture that we are / were a part of. I try to look at the rank and file...(even though I'm an MS, I am really just a rank and file) as people with the same feelings that I may be having. We can't know how many inside there are that are tortured by the BS, 30% maybe more...I don't know. I know many that I would never categorize as the terrorists that this thread is talking about. I do agree though, that this thread does describe many down to a T though.
at least have major doubts and flat out do not agree on some fds teaching.
lately i have been very engaging with jw family and friends and every single one had at least one total disagreement with the fds (i told them i would not shun them for this apostacy, and to be careful who they express it to...lol).
common non-beliefs with fds....were:.
I forgot to mention, an elder I've known for years...although never outright saying it's BS, when he talks about WT articles, GB directives, how things are done...etc. I can just tell by his body language, rolling eyes, and shaking head, that he doesn't buy it.

I just found out through some closet conversations myself...that a couple 'high ranking' ones in our cong. has severe issues with things the "fds" teaches. Who?...our P.O. and a long time (former) pioneer disagree with 1914 and have pretty much snickered throughout the Rev Climax book and the utter nonsense therein. I'm an MS and realize now all these warm fuzzy feelings I've had about being in the "truth" and having a "whole association of brothers" is a bunch of bull.
For some reason it is comforting to know ones who I thought were hard core has serious misgivings.....if only we could all stand up at once.
i certainly will.. this place has strengthened me in my resolve to forever stay away from "the truth".. i've made a lot of connections here and have learned a lot.. jwd and friends----you will be missed!.
Yes.
