New Rumor: Downsizing Circuits/Assemblies

it offers an approach that is completely within watchtower policy yet will give reason for any elder or potential witness to take great care moving forward.

would you think it would be fair or loving for god to destroy you, me and our child, just because we didn't respond to them at the door?".
she didn't really have much of an answer...i hope it will kick in some "deep thoughts".

one of the biggest challenges for born-ins in finding their pre cult personality is that our entire personalities are based on the religion.
there is no such thing as a pre cult personality for us.

well written 'Stuck'! I enjoyed that, and identified with it....technically I am not a born-in (indoctrinated starting at age 5-6ish) but pretty dang close. I remember the first few weeks of the blinders coming off...I actually sobbed a few times, totally overcome with emotion realizing it was all fake. I am still partially living a lie, since I still pretend like I believe (for my wifes sake) although fortunately we don't go to 100% of the meetings. So I am stuck and can't fully develope my post cult personality yet. I do love so much not having to run the hamster wheel though....& no more meeting parts is something I revel in almost every day.

i am a regular pioneer in my cong reading crisis of conscience.here goes...
by MsGrowingGirl20 ini'm on page 90 right now...the info is definitely new and gives me a totally diff view as to how i used to think of faithful and discreet slave.
i was thoroughly disgusted with the way the brothers handled the oral sex and leadership problem and the insight on the scriptures book...... still have alot of questions though.

Wow, is this the longest welcome thread ever??? lol...I think mine was only about 3 pages long ;-) j/k...WELCOME to the board!!! This place is my therapy and I dont get a bill for $100/hr! Everyone has already given good advice, and I'll just add, "I was where you are" It's tough at first, but does get easier.

I used to feel uncomfortable if too many people congratulated me on a talk or something...oops gotta go quick sorry
