  stuck in the borg...meeting was terrible last night.

  when is something else big gonna happen.

  like: no more time slips, no more tms/sm, co/do gone for sure???

  i have grown to hate this statement with a a passion.

  as an ms i vowed never to say it, because it never really sounded caring.

  it was just a subtle guilt trip.. anyway...my reason for starting this thread is that a 'bible study' i know, (who i am aquianted with other than him being a b.s.

  The Missus - I 100% agree...it blew me away when I got a visit from an elder to deliver my KM...Deliver my KM, are you kidding me, we still have 2 weks till it starts! He was all dressed up at 11:20 on a rainy saturday morning. He had the typical 'why aren't you out in service smirk' as he handed it to me. Bet he was between calls and the coffee shop, still on the clock.

  ...as a side point to what I wrote, it's interesting that same 'Study' has told me himself he "missed me at the meeting"; the indoctrination about how freekling important these drone meetings are starts early!

  I have grown to hate this statement with a a passion. As an MS I vowed never to say it, because it never really sounded caring. It was just a subtle guilt trip.

  Anyway...my reason for starting this thread is that a 'Bible Study' I know, (who I am aquianted with other than him being a B.S.) just came up to me and said that so and so (a 'brother') "missed me at the meeting" and "where have I been" - I just looked at him and said "if he misses me he can ask me personally with a phone call"

  truth is I had some minor sugery...and have used it as an excuse to beg off MS doodies for awhile ... it's also allowed me to miss some meetings, which I know is raisong some eybrows as to why this 'appointed man' (me) is missing meetings. I am sure I have been judged by many as a weak MS.

  But nobody truely cares. Because very few know.

  We are judged by men - filling up a seat, and writing a number on a piece of paper!

  Incredible!

  i just had a fun thought.

  what if sombody with tons of money, who also hated the jw religion, offered to give any high up dub (gb mem, pr guy, legal dub etc) a comfortable living for the rest of his life if he came clean on how it's all just a man made pulishing company.... i gotta think that is what is keeping some in, ones that know the truth, ones that could cause some real damage.

  they can't leave because they would lose their ny appt with 3 meals a day and built in "friends".

  7 Congregations in My Area, VT, MA, NH, Have Been Cut to 3!!!

  i got this verified today.

  seven congregations that were in my old circuits now are only three.. north and south gardner, ma were merged.. north and south claremont, nh were merged.. north adams, ma and bennington, vt were merged.. the wilmington, vt congregation was dissolved.. there has been discussion to merge the keene and swanzey, nh congregations, but there are some strong personalities among the two bodies of elders opposing that, so it is not likely to happen, though i hear that keene has got some big problems in its boe and very poor service, etc.. that's 9 congregations within about a 70 mile radius that are all seeing some serious trouble.. anyone hearing anything similar happening where they are?.

  I had to laugh when I read this, we have had the same thing happen: tons of people moving in. So our congo seems huge now and oh so "very encouraging" (puke) A sister commented a week ago, how Jehovah is blessing the work because "look at how the congregations are growing" HELLOO. THEY ARE ALL MOVE INS!! Think for a second! jeesshh. morons.

  While I was mentally in, I never really questioned anything, we had a pretty good group of elders, and ms's (no real jerks)...So 'no'. But, I had a good friend that did some foolin' around with his fiance, he felt so guilty....and then a few months later he was appointed a MS. He was so relieved, he knew Jehovah had forgiven him...(by appointing him) and he would never have to bother going to the elders. I was a good friend and never said anything either...even though I was a "good" MS and knew it was my official duty.

  1. bethel in ny suspect high level apostate, cant identify it but know its there.

  2. major organizational changes about to start rolling out, one is changes to the "service committee" and titles, po to be done away with, thats all i know for now.

  was told that if you are the sort of person that cant handle changes, you wont stay in the org for long.

  Hey...If there's any newbee lurkers out there, grab a cup of coffee and read this whole thread. I go back to it every now and then hoping, praying...that there might be some cataclysmic change in the WTS Inc.

  If the berlin wall can come down, and if the 'world wide church of god' can implode so can the WTS...

  i haven't seen any comments on this yet.... in the december 15, 2008 "study" version of the watchtower, in the last study article (the one to be covered march 1), paragraph 14 reads thusly in part:.

  "...one january evening, the man asked his wife, jodi, what she knew of jehovah's witnesses.

  she was a catholic, and she said that the only thing she linked to the witnesses to was "door-to-door preaching".

  If bethel does monitor this site...what do you want to bet that this thread got them thinking. Maybe they revisited this sentance with the poor guy that wrote this in the first place, possibly gave him a little grilling as to why he used the verbage he did. Granted, he could be (or just play) innocent and say "hey, you guys checked it!"

  It is very strange though.....
