i saw one up close and personal because the jw annointed sister who was studying with me, told me that if i looked up every scripture in her (illegally gotten before the school started) pioneer school book and cut it out of old green nwts and pasted them in the margins, it would make her a stronger pioneer and jehovah would reward me.
and in the process i would learn where things were in the bible.. gosh what an incredible honor i was blessed with!
you know i did it..i didnt know a damn thing.

Thanks for all the replies. OTWO - yes, I've drastically have reduced the depressing stuff! I informed the PO that for personal reasons I need to "step down" from being an MS!!! Yeah! --- I now also report some phantom time...If my former self could see me now...omg.
As I mentioned about a year ago in one of my first posts. My wonderful wife is a typical R&F witness girl, who could not explain the "deeper" things if she had to...I mean no disrespect, heck I can't either. As a soon to be former MS, I had to parrot info from the pubs to give talks or conduct a BS.
...sorry I got off track. So as a typical R&F, she has no problems missing meetings or service with me. One step at a time...

wantingtruth - thank you and welcome to the board. I like your name I want truth too! But I am just going to give up, after 30 years of thinking I had it, I don't know what to believe right now. Just feel lost. I will check out that link, when I have more time to read it.

Sir82 - eco situation is not great here, especially if you're in construction, janatorial, or window washing. :-) It's not as bad here as in some areas, but you're right, could be a lot of move outs.
Just weird that these congo names have been around forever and now they will no longer exist.

I live in a semi large city. 200,000 + residents. Just found out the other day from a friend that 3 congregations are merging down to 1! Why!? They were dwindeling. These are long time congregations that have been here for 20-30 years. Ah, what remarkable growth! Looks like 'waste of paper' campains are not working.
And, Thanks to those that posted responses on my 'depressed' thread. Posting here is the only therapy I've got :-)
