  Escape from Paradise: a new book by Brock Talon

  after a one year gestation period, as well as an extended labor, i am finally happy to announce the birth of my latest book: escape from paradise.. cigars all around!

  like any new parent, i need to get some much needed sleep now.

  Who is Gog of Magog? - Watchtower May 2015

  here we go again... let's study... news report... comment.... who is gog of magog mentioned in the book of ezekiel?.

  for a number of years, our publications have explained that gog of magog is the name given to satan the devil after his ouster from heaven.

  this explanation was based on the fact that the book of revelation identifies satan the devil as the leader of the worldwide attack on gods people.

  is your sense of loneliness (if you are lonely) heightened when you see what they share?

  how do cope (if you are coping) with a sense of isolation, of not having a significant other?.

  i know some single persons who are very happy as they are.

  I have been divorced for nine years after a horrible 20 year marriage in JWdom. My husband was the epitome of a male chauvinist pig. I have had some nice dating experiences and have met some wonderful men, but the thought of committing again has me running in the opposite direction anytime I get close. I do get lonely, especially around my happily married friends, but not enough to chance it again.

  i live in relatively small seaside community (regional population around 45,000).

  in my ten years here, i've had witnesses call on me perhaps twice (not special visits but during door-to-door).

  whereas they once canvassed door-to-door much more frequently - and in larger size service groups - there is quite a decline in their door-knocking - at least in this region.. with the advent of the "trolley" work, their visibility has increased - but i'd estimate only marginally.

  WTF??? When I think of all the years I spent in full time service trudging through huge snow dirifts and below zero weather in northern WI, literally going hungry many times, begging Jehovah to help me reach honest hearted ones, wanting desperately to reach people before the great tribulation started.......What was it all about?

  Nicolaou....My very good friend committed adultery and her elder husband sat in on all the judicial proceedings. She was DF'ed. This absolutely makes my skin crawl to think of these sick sexually perverted men doing this to a woman.

  As a child, those beatings in the back room were a pretty good motivator to sit up, sit still and tune out. Of course, it was not just the back room that motivated me ..... there was also the book study at our house where wooden spoons were swinging regularly, the back of my mother's hand was always ready to go or my personal favorite was the humiliating loud deafening slap on a bare thigh (in plain view of everyone). I also remember being reprimanded from the platform by my father a couple of times during a Watchtower study.  Lots and lots of motivation!!

  hello all... i currently studying the bible teach book and i'm just curious what information does the study conductor record about the student and is it passed on??

  and they keep on saying "the truth" which is starting to get on my nerves.
