  i remember seeing the ex-jws parading around outside the assembly like lepers holding placards of hate.

  we were the righteous and enlightened ones... and they were lost in outer darkness.

  just dont look at them was the standard response to their unwelcome presence..

  I am not angry at the years I was a JW, but I am furious that I could not quietly walk away when I realized it was all a lie. They harassed and hounded and hunted me down like a wild animal for two years. And when I refused to meet, answer phone calls or sign their endless certified letters they finally DFed me.

  London Bethelites Are Agitated!

  a source has informed me that a relative who's in london bethel has said that a number of bethelites there are very uncomfortable and embarrassed because the branch has received "quite a few letters" querying why members of the governing body were wearing flashy rings and jewellery on some of the monthly broadcasts, but on the broadcast when the g.b.

  asked for more money from the congregations - their gold and jewellery was not on display!.

  will probably emerge one day wearing sackcloth, begging for yet more donations..

  Has anyone asked older Jdubs how they feel about the GB annointed getting younger?

  i was married to a 30 year old jw back in the 90's and he claimed to be of the annointed.

  he partook at the memorials and all the elders and older jdubs didnt believe him.

  they actually gave him a really hard time.

  Every "Anointed" member of JWdom that I have know in the last 30 years has been 100% flippin' nuts! The very first JW anointed people used to be a group that thought deep and wanted something more intelligent than what Christendom had to offer. They were curious about this new religion and devoured books that required thought. Now it is just a bunch of wackos reading picture brochures and watching Sophie cartoons while waiting for their rapture.

  an older man and wife - ray and mary - got chatting to me today.

  they were tourists admiring local wildlife.

  i gave them a few tips on where to go to see some interesting things and it wasn't long before they were telling me about how awful the world is "nowadays" and paradise yadda yadda.

  out of all of those books, i liked "mankind's search for god.

  " however, it appears to me that this book is incredibly obscure and no one recalls studying it during the old book study format.

  Life Everlasting in the Freedom of the Sons of God...... Loved that book. I read it faithfully every March before the Memorial.

  This book is all that is left of my JW library (and the purple song book)

  one member of a similar spanish speaking forum has found something quite interesting.. it is quite funny to see that gb members do not really realize how their belongings are really showing them as a fraud.

  do you expect to see a gb wearing a 17000 us$ iwatch when answering to a court.

  I can't help but think of the years when I was broke as a pioneer.....Magnum

  This is the reason these extravagances of the GB are so disturbing. I remember literally being hungry, and often all those years I regular pioneered. I was skin and bones soakin' wet because I wholeheartedly applied Matt 6:33.

  What the hell was it all for?
