I wish I had left earlier. While in the Borg, my ex- husband made me cut off my disfellowshipped brother. Now that my brother is gone, I would do anything to have those years back!

Okay, this thread really kept me up last night. I was thinking over the presents from men I have received over the years and wondered which one stood out as the BEST. It was never the jewelry, flowers, perfume or underwear! The best gift that touched my heart the most was a wind chime designed in all peace signs. I hung it in front of a window above my tub. At night when there is a breeze I hear the chimes and think of the man that gave it to me and I smile.

My big boy Chester brings me a warm mouse everyday - sometimes it is a bunny, bird, worm, spider or snake. My heart melts for such a loving male.

what was it like to live in the 1950's 1960's and early 70's as a jehovah witness.when they started to push the 1975 date..

I was so scared! My parents had prepared my siblings and me for a VERY GREAT and SCARY TRIBULATION. All weak JW's and worldy people would turn against me. We would probably be seperated from our parents and siblings and thrown in prison. There would not be enough food to eat, hence we would probably be eating my cat 'Nicki' and it went on and on.....

I prayed constantly to survive 1975. It is hard to believe, but I did survive it!
