Sometimes apostrophes stand in for missing letters. Could it be that the apostrophe above stands in for the missing "graph"?
Otherwise, right on!
i know i am an old fart and a pedant, but things spelled incorrectly stand out, like copy of c.o.c in a kingdom hall library.. i don't think it matters too much say, posting on here,or in life generally,so many people make mistakes, but i do think it detracts from your credibility and your message in important stuff i.e a d.a letter for example, any excuse and dub's will ignore what you say.. so,is it not worth checking?
one word that many on here have a problem with is apostasy, often putting a c where the last s should be.. is having a problem with this word a true example of irony?.
love.

civil rights lawsuit hits 6 oregon watchtower elders.
after xxxxxx sent a link off of justia.com, i found more information on this lawsuit filed december 3, 2008 in federal court in oregon.
There's no action on this thread right now, but I am thinking about it quite a bit.
How about this for a scenario: A JW hospital employee knows that the plaintiff accepted a transfusion. The employee tells the elders and the plaintiff gets DF/DA. The plaintiff is suing the hospital for breaking confidentiality and the elders for the DF/DA.
I remember reading a WT article somewhere where you were practically encouraged to break the law and inform the elders in this exact circumstance.
Anyone?
a friend is being hassled by a body of elders to go to a judicial committee.
i have advised against going but if they go ahead.... the question is are you entitled to have a representative of your own at a judicial committee?.
a second, not quite so urgent, question is: does anyone know where to get a copy of coc in spanish.. thanks.
Thanks for the replies. I didn't think there was much hope of representation. I am right in saying that they must give you notice of date and reason for meeting in writing if you request it aren't I?
On CoC - commentary press say they are sold out. Can't find CoC in spanish on amazon. Anywhere else to try?

Any more info on this story?
i am, for now a witness on the outside, and still believe in god most of the time.
i have read dawkins "the god delusion", found it pretty interesting and helped me understand why athiests believe the way they do.
but i always have questions.....one that really bothers me about deism is the thought that god has always existed and always will, had no beginning and no end.
Belief is not a choice
RAmen to that brother Ink!
i have no intention of starting a long rambling evolution debate thread.. here is a link for a great video of an interview with father george cloyne (catholic priest and physicist) by richard dawkins.
the video was shot for a recent tv program about darwin on channel 4 in the uk.
it is great to see the respect each scientist has for each other and to hear how much they agree upon.
Wobble - Little fella is doing great, pm me if you want pictures.
Jag - you don't really have to listen to Dawkins, he's just asking questions for the most part. The interview never made it into the show but they are posting the uncut interviews on his website.

This isn't atheist propaganda. I would strongly recommend this interview to anyone interested in evolution/creation etc. I thoroughly enjoyed it, a fascinating discussion. I will say no more, just wanted to share.
