  JWs having Facebook Sex - Strongly warned to get off FB at CA yesterday

  so it appears that jws are letting their freaky side come out on fb for everyone to see.. there was talk on the ca yesterday strongly warning all true lovers of jehovah to delete their fb accounts.

  the talk was solely about fb.

  the speaker mentioned that jws are associating with people that would not associate with in real life, often using the excuse that the person is a relative.

  This has nothing to do with FB sex and everything to do with Information Control. The whole hooking up/ FB sex is a smoke screen.

  How I feel about the "truth"

  "the truth"it's like someone giving you a box of puzzle pieces and the person tells you that the puzzle is from god.and that you should be so happy and humbled by the fact that it was given to you.

  then you are told how to put it together when to put it together, who should help you, who should not help you,only marry other puzzle workers, only associate with other puzzle workers, you must dress and act like a puzzle worker and you can only use their instructions etc etc if you read any other instructions or use any other art form andif you don't do exactly as you are told to do with this puzzle you will die...and as you start to put it together you notice thatthe pieces don't all fit, but your constantly told that they do, so don't complain or else your puzzle will be taken away.

  and you won't get the wonderful chance of putting it together and you will die.

  Why Would Someone Like me Leave the "Truth"? Part 4

  reason number 3 should this happen in gods chosen organisation?.

  my previous 3 posts dealing with this subject have discussed some incidents that played an important part in my waking up to the fact that i was part of a high control cult ,called by its members the truth.

  these events were not entirely responsible for my exit, but they added to a portfolio of doubts that i had subconsciously filed away in the wait on jehovah drawer.

  As long as the WTS has a hold on the parents of the dreamers, then dreams will always be killed...or at least deferred. When parents have to take the heat from Elder Overlyrighteous for allowing their child to play sports or attend university, or any of the other things villified by the WTS, so suffers the dreamer.

  I totally agree with you, troubled & myownlife. Ive freed myself of the WT slavery in time to allow my kids to enjoy their childhood and adolescent years.

  and the irony is that the witnesses benefit from those who followed their dreams.... doctors, lawyers, scientists, etc.

  I had a small dream in high school, to for once time in my life feel normal, and go to prom. I even had a 'worldly' boy ask me to go. My mom was against it; we had long been instructed that proms and homecomings were bad associations filled with sex, drugs, and alcohol. I tried to go, but in the end gave up. I felt like I'd be disappointing my mother. Strangely, I didn't think Jehovah would disapprove as I knew these things were monitored by school staff, my friends weren't into drugs or alcohol, and I had no intention of having sex.

  It was just a small dream I had once, not really a big one. But something I think about as an opportunity to finally have a good memory from high school.

  Sometimes things come along right when you need them. And I really needed to read this tonight. Thank you so much for posting this.

  I work around numerous dubs and most of my close family is in; Tonight I felt like ripping the bandaid off and getting the DA over with; some days I don't know how much more I can take. Around me there is not a single person that I can talk to about my frustrations. Even my spouse doesn't understand "why I can't just get over it" since I haven't been to a meeting in almost 2 years. He doesn't understand the indoctrination of being raised in a cult, nor the risks in walking away. At times, I feel no one understands except those in the 'conscious class'. I'm forever grateful for this forum and forever indebted to numerous posters here, who really understand and can relate to this struggle.

  i'm so proud of my children.

  after all that they've been through with the loss of our house and their father being sick all of them are doing well, very well, with their school work.. i love my kids!

  lol my conspiracy theorist sister was yappin about this last month. She also told me that the H1N1 virus was manufactured by the government as a chemical weapon and soon we will see the real virus H1N5 kill millions. I told her to stay off the internet.
