  "attempted suicide"... meaning..?

  i see this expression being used frequently and i think it would be helpful to parse the possible meaning by the person using it.

  because it has such a huge range of possible impressions that could be taken by the reader.

  just to illustrate, i will place myself in the #1 category below of person who might use the expression "attempted suicide".. a.

  How do you confront someone abusing their daughter?

  seeing how child abuse has affected many people here, i am hoping for some advice.

  we have friends of our family that have it on good authority that a father is abusing his four year old daughter.

  he's always seemed rather creepy to me, which is a bit of the problem.

  Being a person who grew up being sexually abused, PLEASE call child services immedately!! I would rather the authorities step in and be in the wrong than let that girl go through one more night of horror! The trauma caused by sexual abuse will haunt her forever.

  As for the mother, abusers are usually very good at the deception! The mother WILL deny it. She is being manipulated by a sick minded individual.

  My mother could never comprehend my father doing this to me...after all, he was an elder...

  Please contact the authorties as soon as possible!

  What is the most hours you ever turned in on your F.S. report?

  Mr. Flipper & Son Hear, See, and Get Footprints of Bigfoot on Pack Trip

  so, the long awaited trip began for my son and i to return to the same place he heard a bigfoot a year ago in the forests of northern california.

  the trip started out unfortunately for us to be a 7 mile hike instead of a 2 to 3 mile hike in to our base camp , as huge snow drifts covered the road , making it even inaccessible for 4 wheel drive, so , with packs on backs we hiked over 50 ft long snow drifts on places on the trail.

  even snow was covering one creek near the lake we were destined for .

  I didn't get a chance to read the entire article. I'm supposed to be working....

  But I can see that being completely the case! I know the abuse I suffered at the hand of my father vs. the idea of a heavenly father were just too much for my brain to get as a kid. I know I have had struggles all my life because of the worthless feelings and "mental anguish"

  I can see how the indoctrination can totally mess with your mind!

  difficult to understand how even heavys that taught about having a relatinship with god now proclaim that it was imagined after leaving the truth.

  puts into question appointments and people serving.

  i can understand if some one new leaves the org.

  Looking back I don't think I ever really did. Even as an elder, everything seemed so foreign to me.

  I remember my grandmother praying out loud during an earthquake. I could never seem to find that place where I felt I was getting anywhere with it.

  I do have a huge problem with authority figures betraying your trust. I think I never really trusted god.

  i just have something running through my mind.. i heard through the grapevine that both of my grandparents died a couple years ago.

  the sad part is that it isn't a big loss.. my question come here: i know all of us grandchildren were in the will for $10,000.

  unfortunately, my uncle is the executor of the estate.
