You guys refuse to differentiate between the two processes. Trump has been impeached such is the process the house is empowered to do. He has not been convicted and removed from office ( that is the Senate's purview under the constitution.) Even if the Senate decides not to convict and remove him, He has been impeached. He most likely will not be convicted by the senate. He will however be historically known as one of the the 3 U.S. Presidents to be impeached.( Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton being the only other 2) Please note though they where impeached neither was removed from office.
XD
fed up : the Senate does not have the power to vote for impeachment only to convict of high crimes and misdemeanors.
