In the beginning in the Garden of Eden Adam and Eve lived just as Jehovah God's will was.
Shouldn't God's original will finally take place on earth?
That would mean that people would go around naked. People would be free like animals. Animals don't need money, so would not people either.
Life would be so simple and relaxed.
Nobody would work hard. Like animals, who don't work hard. The main thing animals do is to eat and relax and sleep.
But people got a specific task: Then God said: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every creeping animal that is moving on the earth.” -Genesis 1:26
And little gardening was required to get food:
"Jehovah God took the man and settled him in the garden of EĘąden to cultivate it and to take care of it." - Genesis 2:15

In the "Proclaimers" chapter 10 it reads about Russell:
"As a youth, Russell had joined the Congregational Church and was active in its work, but the unreasonableness of traditional dogmas led to his becoming a skeptic. He found that what he had been taught could not be defended from the Bible in a satisfying way. So he discarded the dogmas of church creed and, with them, the Bible. Next, he explored leading Oriental religions, but they too proved unsatisfying. Then he began to wonder if perhaps the Bible was being misrepresented by Christendom’s creeds. Encouraged by what he heard one evening at an Adventist meeting, he began a systematic study of the Scriptures. What he saw unfolding before him was indeed the inspired Word of God."
What are oriental religions here really about? Was it in fact Freemasonry he studied?

I would like to shortly tell my story. When I was about 30 years 19 years ago I saw one WT teaching that was not according to the Bible. Then I thought what else might be wrong? So I started to read the Bible cover to cover multiple times prayerfully to understand which WT doctrines are true and which are false. In that way during several years I found out many things WT teaches correctly but also many things they teach falsely.

Hi, I would like to clarify, the man of lawlessness had not appeared in the first century, but it was the apostacy.
Apostle Paul's point of bringing this up was to calm down the christians who had started to imagin that the day of the Lord was present. Paul told them that it will not be near until the man of lawlessness appears. That would only happen in the very few final years of this system of things. In fact the man of lawlessness has not even now appeared. But apostacy has been in the workings. Apostle Paul describes clearly what the man of lawlessness will claim and perform. It's not symbolic. It's litteral.
He will do miracles like no one else, and many will then believe he is God. He will be what is called the Antichrist.

Isaiah 40:29-31 and Being Gay
by IWant2Know ini'm new here and i have perhaps an unusual question.
it's just something that i would like to know from ex's or formers rather than from other jehovah's witnesses.
but i would like to know what your experience and your struggle was for former jws who were gay when they were jws.

Hi, I would answer your question by saying that everyone has to struggle with sinful inclinations. Hetrosexual people might have a hard struggle with constant thoughts about fornication or adultery.
But other people who are not especially interested with sex, might have strong feelings of greed, or excessive desire to steal or to take drugs or drink too much alcohol or some find it irresistible to avoid bullying others.
I think everyone who is not fully engaged spiritually struggles with a variety of serious sinful feelings and thoughts.

Exodus 7:20 Immediately Moses and Aaron did just as Jehovah had commanded. He lifted up the rod and struck the water that was in the Nile River before the eyes of PharĘąaoh and his servants, and all the water that was in the river was turned into blood.
Why would someone argue that in Revelation 16 a similar thing will not be literal?
Revelation 16:4 The third one poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water. And they became blood. 5 I heard the angel over the waters say: “You, the One who is and who was, the loyal One, are righteous, for you have issued these judgments, 6 because they poured out the blood of holy ones and of prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; they deserve it.” 7 And I heard the altar say: “Yes, Jehovah God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.”

As the wild beast will be real, so will its image and its name and the number of its name. In the near future we might see it. The world is planning for this right now since the Covid thing.
Revelation 15:2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who are victorious over the wild beast and its image and the number of its name were standing by the sea of glass, holding harps of God.

When the seven headed beast of Revelation 13 presents itself and sets up an image of itself for worship, then we could expect God's Kingdom come within a decade.
Daniel 8 speaks about 2300 days. That is 6 years and 3 months.
