elders wont pray for someone?
by AuntBee ina former member said that elders told a relative of his after she was dfed that they would not be praying for her.
is that some kind of policy, or were they just doing their own thing in that instance?
taot.

Paul’s teaching of all sins being forgiven for the gentiles and the JWs?
by Crazyguy2 inpaul teaches through many of his writings using terms like justification, redemption, atonement etc.
that gentiles are not only forgiven of sin both past and present but even their conscience is clean of such actions.
how do the jw teachings get around all these scriptures and pauline books in the bible that clearly teach this???

great comment Sea Breeze! So true! JWs seem only familiar with "covenant for a kingdom" and not the one you pointed out in Matthew 26 re the forgiveness of sins.

Blood doctrine question
by AuntBee inwhen witnesses go on and on about bloodless medicine, they often imply that this will work in all situations.
do they really believe this, because it's what the society has led them to believe?
are they just trying to divert their own mind, from the reality of blood deaths, that still happen?

Orphan Crow, that's awesome. Powerful, and probably a new thought to them and unexpected! -

Thank you for all the comments! -- I like this topic when trying to plant seeds with JWs, as i have opportunity.
Sometimes i am unsure whether it's best to use questions that are more along the line of "disturbed outsider" who heard about the latest blood death, and just make obvious points, that would come from thinking about the topic Scripturally or logically. Or whether to have more facts on hand to refute what their standard replies are going to be. I don't want to seem like a "professional opposer"; sometimes that can backfire, and they'll write you off more quickly, than just a simple point or question from an outsider.
