  JW TV - One Further Step Towards Making the Organization Soft & Cuddly

  one of the more astonishing developments within the organization in recent years is the muting of the more "out there" behaviors of this once fiercely confrontational and proud end-times religious group.. members were unapologetically no part of the world and couldn't give a rat's ar*e what you thought of them.

  whereas the organisation fostered an outlook of warning the "wicked" world of the imminence of its destruction at the hands of the almighty - and spared no effort in doing so - nowadays the organization is sucking in its more "loose cannon" elements.

  in the place of these elements is a sparkling, smiling, airbrushed group of worshippers who parade their wholesome settled lifestyle to win converts.

  Prediction- JW's will create their own Social Network Site

  with their advancement into web based programming and their soon to be broadcast meetings the need for a physical meeting place is quickly diminishing.

  i predict that the large scale sell-of of kingdom halls will begin in the next few years as the people get their meetings online.

  the one thing that would be missed with a liquidation of kh halls is "upbuilding" association which will force the society into creating a jw social media app which will not only allow for association but close monitoring of the pubs.

  TV.JW.Org - Streamed to KHs via the New Projectors

  i read here recently that the khs are being instructed to buy and install projector systems.. now that we've seen the launch of of tv.jw.org we can fully expect public talks to - on a monthly basis at least - be replaced by content streamed from the site to the screens in khs.. .

  Now that we've seen the launch of of tv.jw.org we can fully expect Public Talks to - on a monthly basis at least - be replaced by content streamed from the site to the screens in KHs.

  Let's not forget that tv.jw.org is ALL about the Governing Body. Yes, there will be streams from talks etc, all presented by "brothers". But the main showpiece broadcast will be presented by a Governing Body member. This is about their position in the minds of the R&F and about harnessing the long-forgotten cult-of-personality last seen in the JF Rutherford days.

  there's an interest point raised by stephen letts at around the 7 minute mark of the intro video;.

  much of the equipment used to build the studio was made available by donation.

  he twice mentions (once at the start of the video) the need for "support", which we can assume means donations.

  Then he states that "many will be wondering why we're building this studio in Brooklyn when, in two years time - Jehovah willing, we'll be moving to Wallkill.

  This belies that fact that the GB has no doubt that "Armageddon" isn't coming any day soon.

  At the start of the video, and throughout the first 7 minutes, they bang on about it was made clear to them by Jehovah that this new video project had his blessing.

  Therefore Jehovah can't be planning to launch Armageddon within the next 2 years, can he?

  Anyway, I think right away we've got to the route of the purpose for this TV channel; donatations. But as has already been pointed out in other threads, the GB will slip up, just as Lett has done in the intro video, letting the R&F know that the end isn't quite as near as is promised...

  there's no doubt that the wtbts isn't sparing the hard-earned donations from the r&f on its latest trial of jw broadcasting.. this screenshot i took from the "behind-the-scenes" is just one of many examples of top-end tech gear being used in this endeavour.. .

  why does this guy need harmankardon speakers when he's using cad software...and note the iphone.
