I also went to a funeral with the same thing happening. Body in the hearse outside and everyone inside. I was shocked and his wife wasn't even a witness, but she let them control his funeral. It was like a circus. The guy was a real pig and had a affair on her, but she stayed with him. Opps, wasn't suppose to tell you that it was a secret. The only reason I found out was we were friends. I told my husband and he didn't want to hear about it. The sister he had the affair with came to the funeral parlor and she threw her out. What a show that was?

what angers you about the truth

elders who will not make shepherding calls to comfort their brothers and sisters but as soon as that brother or sister puts one little foot out of line those same f-----g (sorry about the language but it really angers me ) elders can not move fast enough to form a judicial committee and then are so unmerciful - it makes me want to vomit literally

the fact that they divide homes. My husband just received a invite to a wedding a it was in his name only. I tore it up after he opened it. He said they didn't want me there because I'm not one of them. How can I come back at him? I said then I guess if they don't consider us a couple, he shouldn't either. I so sick of this I'm a good person and a good wife. I put up with all of his meetings, cook and clean, wash and iron, and now to find we are not husband and wife. Married since 1966 and this february I will get out of this mad house. This really opened my eyes.

No, I felt like a person with no brain. I thought this would make my husband happy. I hurt my mother and father very much, and I missed out on many family functions. To this day I still live with the guilt that my father was dying and where was I, at the summer convention. I would love to just tell him how sorry I was for being so selfish not being with him at his time of the end. I couldn't even mourn his death and I loved his so very much. During my ten years at the hall with my husband being a elder you just have to suck it up to look like the perfect family and all the while you are dying inside. I never wanted to walk ahead of him, but as a family we walked behind him, when we should have walked beside him. This man will never change everything is about him and what he wants to do, that's why I will soon have a life of my own without him.

Those With JW Spouses - How are you Coping ? Any experiences ?

and i feel it's good for us to acknowledge the great job many of them are accomplishing with the pressures they have on them living with a spouse in a mind control cult.
i know it would be so easy sometimes for some in that position to say , " the hell with it !

I have been a wt widow for over 21 years. long story read my post. I am very lonely and have been with him 42 yrs, but will get out soon. Everyday is a struggle and I hate it. I have 2 wonderful children and 2 grandchildren, they are my life. They tell me to do what makes me feel good and to enjoy my life. Sometimes when I speak with him he lies right to my face about his belief, I get so angry I cry. I don't hurt anymore that is gone, but the anger is eating me up. Take alot of drugs to keep calm beause I have some health issues. He doesn't even know what I take and frankly he doesn't really give a dam. Life is all about him and his needs. Sex life is gone and he won't get any help with that because the drugs don't work on him. No implant for him probably against his belief. We don't do much together because he is always gone meeting, field service and more meetings.
When I tell him I am leaving he says the bible says if you can't live together in peace then leave. So I guess I will leave. We have to stay strong and keep encouraged that there is a better life for us.

Please don't tell me that they are now trying to get into our bedroom!! Are these people stupid enough to tell elders what type of sexual activity goes on between husband and wife? What are these couples doing wrong? If there are any articles in the wt or aw let me know my mate has a room full of bound volumes. Do they have any advise what to do if your husband can perform? The drugs don't work how about a implant. That is one question I would like to send to the wt, but I know they would never answer. Hope I didn't offend you with these questions.

That co issue really bothers me also. I remember when I went to meetings in the 70's we had to go to second hand stores to buy clothes for meetings. When the co was at the hall for a visit it was announced that he needed a new car, and my stupid husband opened his wallet to give his contribution. CO first family second. I never understood why they don't work. He just received a thank you note and I am demanding a receipt for income tax purposes. I have their phone number and if he doesn't get it I will call them. Don't live off the retirement of others. I thought the bible said if you don't work you don't eat. They get the cash and don't pay tax. Render to Ceasar the things that are Ceasar's and god the things that are gods. Do they get all of their money from congregations or does the wts support them?
