  Their aims, world conversion with all non-believers being destroyed, are the same.

  The difference being Christians believe their "God of Love" will do the destroying, Islam (radical) believe they are doing the destroying in Gods name...

  Yes, that is exactly what I have already explained to you. The point is that the END product is exactly the same. Christianity TEACHES one world of Christians with millions of dead non-Christians. Islam TEACHES one world of Muslims with millions of dead non-Muslims. The METHODOLOGY is different but the ideology is the same. Please read posts carefully before responding to them Zeroday! HS

  So does Christianity.

  Just to remind you that my comment was as a direct result of your statement, quoted above. You mention Islamic teaching, not methodology. Both Islam and Christianity teach the same end via a different methodology. Their aims, world conversion with all non-believers being destroyed, are the same.

  It could be argued that Islam is 'direct action' Christianity where their aims are concerned. Before you reply, please read my posts carefully. It gets very tedious having to make all the running in the logic department.

As in, 'hello, I'm Serena Williams, and I'm a Jehovah's Witness, and my telling you this tacitly implies that it is a perfectly acceptable and tolerated thing among JW's for one of their members to devote the vast majority of their life's energies to something other than the religion itself.'--?

  No. That is not what I mean. The fact that they have been able to pursue an athletic career apparently as baptized Jehovah's Witnesses, is another issue altogether.

  Their religion, as you know, advertises that it makes better citizens of its adherents. The William's sisters behave impeccably in their chosen trade, have a reputation for honesty, integrity and graciousness. As such they are excellent advertisements for their religion, and this is a fact. Another fact is that I admire them for being able to keep their feet on the ground while floating in a sea of adulation for so long.

  These girls have more character than most. Good luck to them.

  Whatever the reason for her wearing a 'patch', she has achieved more in her young life through hard work, discipline and focus than most of us on this Board ever will. Both girls strike me as gracious and unspoiled in ultra competitive world, and are frankly a very good advert for their religion.

  It seems to me that she should actually be sneering at our lack of patches, or at the very least at the obvious trouble Ooompa is having getting laid. Someone give him a hand, he is clearly fed up with his own.

  Most of the ordinary American people ( many of whom had German roots ) - did not want to get into a war with Germany on purely political grounds. Such luminaries as Henry Ford 2, and famous pilot Lindenburgh were openly admirers of Hitler and the comeback he made for the German Economy.

  .....let alone the public affection that the US Ambassador to Germany had during the 30's for the National Socialists and specifically Mr. Hilter. The US Ambassador was none other than Daddy Kennedy, whose roots were obviously Irish, and who was vigorously and publicly opposed to war with Germany. The American National Socialist party at the time, which was far too well attended, was made up of some very high-ranking and politically influential social figures, all of them obviously opposed to war with Germany.   Partially correct Simon. The US is more successful than you realize at the moment because the Mainstream is keeping our success out of the public eye. Haven't you noticed that there is almost nothing in the news right now about Iraq? That is because 15 of the 18 objectives of the increase in forces in Iraq are met. The Iraqis have taken over much of the responsibility for dealing with insurgents and accomplished much more than the media wants the public to know. So they are silent on the subject.

  Your analysis is incorrect.

  The Sunnis, who had previously been fighting WITH Al Queada and filling US body bags, turned against them after being offered in diplomatic talks a power sharing deal and a rack of cash for doing so. That is why there has been fewer Coalition casulaties in recent times. The Sunnis are pointing their weapons in a different direction.

  However, the Sunnis have also promised that once Al Qaeda has been pushed out of Iraq, they will then turn their attention BACK to the US and Coalition troops until they have driven THEM from Iraq. To them a US presence in their country is not an option.

  This is not conjecture, but is well documented and easily researched to those more interested in fact than agenda.
