is there a cure for the cancer that is growing on this board?
i discuss this below and think there is and maybe you will like it.
if you didnt know it already, im a veteran of web-based communities and i can trace my virtual roots to living in the first generation of online hangouts (which were direct dialup electronic bulletin boards before the web was around) like the well and echo.

YK,
Thank you for your answer to my post.
The fact that you acknowledge that LaRouche has a brilliant mind while others dismiss him as an idiotic or crazy man shows there is a disconnect somewhere.I actually see no disconnect here, as surely some of the most brilliant thinkers throughout mans history also have their fatal flaws. I think it is possible to have the 'crazy' and 'brilliant' connected in one man and often at one moment. Do you not agree?
For you info: The fundamental view of oligarchism is that man is a mere beast and a servant to the oligarch. The opposed view is that man is made in the image of God. Nearly all social and political struggles in the last 500 year period can best be explained by this phenomenon of antagonism. So, as a classical humanist, LaRouche feels that classical music is one of the highest forms of art which uplifts the human mind in ways that I certainly can't explain, but not suprisingly he does. He recognizes that rock and roll music is debasing, which of course, we have all heard before elsewhere. But, he also explains how the Tavistock institute has been involved over the last 60 years in a massive brainwashing operation by training their operatives in a certain mindset, and then gradually, over decades, using those agents to infiltrate the media and subvert it with bestial forms of entertainment for the purpose of demoralizing the population, similar to the dehumanizing Roman policy of "bread and circus." The fact that such a condition prevails leads me to think that it's true. Basically, as far as I'm concerned, LaRouche explains how the Devil does his work through various human agencies. He is of course not the first commentator of modern times to begin to draw similar conclusions. Mircea Eliade begins to explore similar motifs in his book 'The Two And The One', and another book that I found very useful is Roger Hazelton’s book ‘A Theological Approach To Art’. I have even read argued that post-mediaeval classical music was the beginning of the end of mankind. I would agree that music is the most powerful of the artistic disciplines as it is a universal and emotional language and can lift the heart into heaven or fill a heart with ‘bestiality’ dependent on its motives. The Devil’s involvement is subjective, as when I first came along to the WTS in the early 70’s, I was heavily counseled for listening to Jazz music by the Cong. Servant! It was described as ‘worldly’ and ‘demonic’, because they perceived it as having no structured form and was thus open to the influence of Demons. I suspect few would try to defend this position today.
I have such heavily opinionated views on music that I seldom share them publicly lest they lead to my early death. What I will say is that in my opinion at the bottom level of the current musical food chain is ‘rap’ music and at the top end is British Jazz, possibly the most underestimated art form the past hundred years.
Anyway, YK thank you for an interesting thread. Just to let you know that I respect your intelligence, and defend your right to reach any intellectual conclusions that you see fit too, but am not terribly impressed with the way that you change a persons ‘handle’, such as ‘Sneaker’, ‘Fraudbacker’, ‘Hilarys Mis-Step’. etc., not so funny; above all crass, and sarcasm that is certainly wasted on me.

YK,
Just two observations.
1) Are the quotations a genuine relection of Larouche's beliefs? Are they accurate?
. Look at what you did. You heard about this LaRouche guy that I referred to and you immediately entered his name into a search engine to dig up the dirt on him.2) Why would you align yourself, given your continual self-proclaimed purity of heart; with a man who has generated enough 'dirt' which is publicly accessible, to question his sanity.
I will say though that his interpretations of current events are far more interesting than reality, in the sort of David Ike manner of speaking.
Coming from Europe I had never heard of the chap until you mentioned him some months ago so I did a little research. I personally think that he would be better off auditioning for the villian's leading part in the next James Bond Movie, but he obviously has a brilliant mind.
I suspect he is a bad sleeper, as I understand his issues much more clearly when I am travelling on business and have not slept for four nights. But then even Benny Hill begins to look Audrey Hepburn at that stage.
Kind regards -- HS
PS - Now don't get upset YK, this is a tongue in cheek post.

IW,
This is a discussion board, what does that mean?????
It means that it is a discussion board.
It does not mean that it was designed as a vehicle with which to focus our own personal frustrations and disappointments and then lash out and hurt those who we perceive to be our enemies.
I know I sounded hard on HS, but it was NOT AN ATTACK it was a call for sympathy! Not for me, but for all the little Raymond Franz's out there, the little brother or sister who has lost so much, who would like to be able to be heard but are not. That's all it was!IW, we must each take responsibility for the words we use. You mention that you are fighting for the cause of the little 'Ray Franz's' and 'Ed Dunlaps', looking for sympathy for them. Why then do you suppose that all you managed to do was to pitch brother against brother if that is ‘all it was’?. Do you think either one of these men that you mention would be enamored with the way you vilify those you perceive to be the unsympathetic? I have no doubt that they would get the same treatment you mete out to others whom you perceive to be guilty of some sort of 'elitism'.
Read most of your threads and replies that you have posted to this Board. Then read them again very carefully. If you did not know yourself, how would you describe the person who wrote them?
IW, you need the sort of help that this Board cannot give you. I have told you before, if you need to talk my mail-box is unlocked and I am a willing listener, but please stop this attempt at camouflaging your real intent. Your appeal to wide reason is not validated by your posts, the contents of which firmly have their sights continually trained in one direction.
Now, I am giving you the opportunity of taking this conversation where it should be, in the private domain. If you do not choose to do this I will not respond to any more of your posts publicly.
Best regards - HS

IW,
Why? Because I am sick and tired of some xJWs feeling they are God's gift to Apostates! HS was vilified when he first posted here, he was put down badly yet he has found the "new light": Play the Game and You Will be Accepted!
The only game that I need to play here is 'Spot The Troublemaker', and I think that I have won.
Your embattled post is not an 'explanation' it is a 'continuation'.

this is the internet, simply put, none of you know anymore about who the other really is or should judge them by the lack of emotional smiley faces in their sentence structure.. first to danny,.
we have spoken on the phone and exchanged a few emails and i consider you a good friend.
you are much like alan in many ways and in others very different.
Thank you Seven.
Our digital relationships cannot be a substitute for person to person friendships. They can of course lead to wonderful and true inter-personal relationships but can also very easily lead to misconceptions and misunderstanding due to the fact that they are, by their very nature, a connection of words and word-images.
I too have great respect for Dannybear and like yourself imagine that he and Alan might have much in common given the opportunity of a face-toface meeting. Though Alan and YK circle and bang heads like mountain goats occasionally, I am equally sure that they would enjoy each others company.
We need to remind ourselves that this Board is not real life, and that in the long run carrying grudges from one post to the other has little to offer anybody, especially those who harbor them. Forgiveness is a far more beautiful an inclination than its counter-part.
Once again thank you Seven - HS

i find it interesting and amusing that "slave" posts opinions concerning the coming great tribulation, and then the information is systematically "adjusted" and "qualified" for the benefit of the viewers by "you know".
ok. i will humor the supposition.
apparently, "slave/you know" would like us to engage in a discussion concerning the destruction of the taliban by the anglo-american coalition as evidence of the beginning of the biblical tribulation.. first of all, the taliban is not an islamic sect.
Have to agree with YK here. He and Slave only have a keyboard in common.
