  hello boys and girls .

  i need some specific help.

  i am hosting a party to celebrate my birthday, and i have a problem ..... i don't know how to mix drinks.

  Dan--- as an old wit told me "if your gonna be dumb, ya gotta be tough."

  Chevy, good "moonshine" should never be confused with "everclear" or pure grain alcohol. Real moonshine is blended home made whiskey... a product of knowledge handed down from Scottish and Irish immigrants who settled the Smokeys and other southern areas. Everclear has its place... makes a real good industrial solvent...hahaa 2 dixie cups of that stuff and a gallon of orange juice could put 10 folks on a bender for 3 days.....

  Clean large garbage can at front door.+ 5 gallons of Kool Aid for a mixer... have all your guests BYOB and dump said bottles into Garbage can on the way in.... all your out is the clean garbage can and 5 gallons of Kool-Aid . If done right, the bottom of your gabage can should last one night...and please, please monitor any open flames.

  It finally arrived!

  well after waiting a long six weeks and wondering everyday during that time was i going to get my new electric scooter and yes it finally arrived to one very happy orangefatcat.

  it is a beautiful scooter full equipped and its fire engine red.

  i took it out the other day and for the first time in years i was able to go around a beautiful park, talking to my neighbours, children, skaters, skateboards, families with their little ones and squirrels and birds and people greeting me and chating and some have puppies who try to get on board, well it was all so envigorating.

  My hat is off to ya, OFC..... I spent a week wheelchair bound and went stir-crazy... I have so much respect for a challenged person who still has a will to enjoy life..... Cruise on!

  tonight, or last night since its early morning now, i stayed home and watched the annual release of "the ten commandments" .

  i was just wondering, since there was never any real mention of the use of scribes during moses day and they were basically put to use after moses posted all those laws, who was writing all this stuff down every time the pharaoh said "so let it be written, so let it be done.

  i don't recall seeing one scribe in that movie!

  In at least one scene there is a scribe. He's behind Brenner to his right. The guy is kneeling and has a reed and papyrus. If memory serves it's the first court-throneroom scene were the phrase was uttered...and I think there is a scribe one of the other court scenes...

  ok, why can't i chat?

  i see the frame, all the sidebox text is "code" and i can't see any one's posting text.

  i'm using internet explorer and a isp.com as service provider....what do i need to change, reset, try????

  ok- chat doesnt work on my puter... using internet explorer, tried "f5"... shows me "in" but i can't see any text posting up... plus the user list comes up in "code"....what is wrong (i changed isp's awhile back- do i need to reset something?).
