Fruitcake... we used to buy some from our bank...Claxons, Claxtons? About 2 inches square.... came out of Georgia if I could remember...been years since I've seen any.

Good stuff. I think a lot of people buy into some "fad" of not likeing fruitcake.

Meetings: Are They Morons?

so, the new arrangement for meetings includes a jam-packed ministry school/service meeting and book study that ends at 8:45pm in many halls - unless they go overtime!.

these geniuses tried to create a family night because they realize witness families are falling apart so they created an awfully long meeting instead that will often take place on a thursday night - just prior to friday when countless kids have tests in school scheduled!.

good for them!

8:45 Pm? That's early. We didnt get home before 10pm on MS-SM Thursdays.... Missed the Waltons and later, Cheers...or whatever good stuff used to be on Thursdays

I always felt bad for the guys next town over...they were a Friday night bunch... at least I could make a High School football game in our Hall.

Oh My Gosh! I just discovered Cornbread Casserole!

we were invited to a friend's house for dinner and our hostess served pot roast with an out of sight salad and corn casserole.

i tried the cassarole and loved.

made a pan a couple of days ago and no one will eat but me but i don't care.

Levis used to have a flat seam..Wranglers still do. Spend time on a horse for days on end and the advantages of a well configured inseam become crystal clear. Scrotums have little to do with the issue.
