enquiring minds just want to know.. when you visit someone in field service do you give a report with information about that person or household?.
is there a pattern of requirements that you must fill out, like number in household, spoke to male or female, something about their attitude?.
we never wrote stuff like that down...after all the angels are following us around noting who is JW material or a drunk...
To bad the took the S-8 form away. I used mine to note where all the old cars were hiding in sheds, horses to buy, hay storage, hunting spots...well you get the idea.

as i announced some time ago, jwd as it is will not continue .... ... but .... it's clear from people's comments that they do like the site and many would like it or something else like it to continue.. one issue was the forum software that was self-developed and not really in a good state to hand-over to anyone but i've been working on that and can now reveal the first release of what will probably be called jwn (son of jwd):.

4 of my 6 g'kids are now teenagers.
i can't stand them.. an old lady once told me that you've got to hate them (teenagers) before you can really love them.. i think she was on to something.. sylvia.
They have to be the laziest teens in the world. The two have their own nice car which their dad is paying for..he gives them a gas credit card..he buys their name brand clothes..gives them spending money..can pretty much come and go as they wish..and can't do a simple 2 chores a week!..
When I was shocked and said something about it to my daughter..she said they pick their fights with the kids..only important things...I'm trying to figure out what "Important" things are. So far the 16 now 17 year old was caught sneaking a duffle bag full of liquor out of the house to go drinking that night with her "Cheerleader" group of friends and some boyfriends.Her punishment consisted of a trip to Florida with the family..a few grounded weekend nights ..and a shopping trip , out to eat, and show with the family.....Apparantly she always stays out past her 12:00 curfew..is allowed to stay out all night at a guys house with other kids if they are drinking so they don't drive and drink..
The grandson has had 3 speeding tickets one for 100 miles per hour..he worked a vending business his dad bought and was allowed to keep the profits..his dad sold the business after 9 months and the son got the money (Surplus). He is now 18 but when 17 he had no curfew...did I mention he is extremely lazy? Neither one of them can puch a chair or stool in when they get up..I shamed them into putting their dishes in the sink at least even tho the dishwasher is close it takes more work to open the door and put dishes in.
Oh yeah..he has had two accidents and his dad paid to get them fixed so his insurance wouldn't go up. Oh yeah..the dad pays for both their insurance on their cars..
I could go on and on about how they enjoy telling my daughter and their father how stupid they are...even tho the parents are paying for everything they have..
But they insist they pick their fights with the kids..so far it looks like the kids are picking the fights..if their parents dare tell them NO about something..
But on the plus side..my grandson is a genius..he scored a 33 on ACT test. He is receiving a full scholorship on his merits..He is so smart he is obnoxious...and did I mention lazy?
My granddaughter has a C average right now..she has too much of a social life to worry about getting any better grades..It seems a C is acceptable...did I mention how lazy she is?..

wow...I met some of your grandkids. I have some children who associate with me who are about the same ilk. I dont do a thing for them or feed the drama. I ahve even marched a couple of em to the bus station and bid them bon voyage over the years.

I watched the PBSO take a drunk out of a parked car in WPB a few years back. They asked him nice for over an hour to exit the car. The drunk wove his arms into the steering wheel... the cops cut the wheel with bolt cutters. By the end of the deal... 7 deputies ended up extracting the suspect and the suspect ended up with 2 broken arms out of the deal

The taser is being used as a "compliance" tool rather than a last resort, which results in poor judgement when some big ego police officer is not skillful enough to reason with someone, or if he is not smart enough to walk away from a situation that he can't control...like the person in the hospital bed. If police don't have the judgement to use a powerful weapon properly and want to use it to bolster their ego, they shouldn't be in a position of authority in the first place~ exdub
I think the "poor judgement" is on the part of the big ego suspect who is to arrogant or stupid to listen to reason in the first place.
"Walk away from a situation he can't control"..so If you dont want to pull over, take a ticket, give a urine sample ... and pitch a hissey fit the police should walk away? After all what should we expect from an egomaniacal law officer with weapons. Yep...he should just walk away and let the problem just go on it's merry way.
They guy on the gurney.. yea, he shoudnt have tasered him. But suspects in dope cases say they "swallowed" the dope all the time. Most of the time they do it because it stalls a trip to jail while the E R checks them out and makes sure they wont die from the dope while they are in custody.
If the cop rushed the guy and hit him with a stick in the feild he would have been just as wrong. But we miss the point... when you get tagged in a drug stop dont swallow the dope.
