Can I count my time if I was anti-witnessing to a co-worker? Or is it just for anti-witnessing to a JW?

The Spirit of The Congregation
by minimus ineach hall has their own "spirit'.
some congregations are very strict.
others more liberal and still others, a little in between.

The first congregation I went to was very friendly, the elders were helpful and appeared to be caring. They weren't too 'strict" but neither were they too 'lenient'. I enjoyed the people at that hall .
The second congregation I went too(unwillingly, they changed the KH boundaries and I was forced to move) was horrible.!! It was very cliqueish(sp?). Many of the members had been at that hall since it was created and the body of Elders had been there just as long. and if you weren't part of the original members family, then you were nothing, despite how 'theocratic' you were. They were very unfriendly, snobby and very judgmental. The elders were overly strict in interpreting the WTBS.
One circuit overseer told them that if they didn't get it together as far as unity and extending themselves to new ones and those less fortunate that they would continue to sit at the table of the demons! I absolutely hated that congregation! I disliked most of the members who attended it, they represented everything that I disliked in a person.

While at work today, a man in the office next to me had a heart attack. The office staff were yelling for someone who knew CPR. I thought to myself,' I know CPR'. I went into the area they were at and he was on the ground. Another guy was there beginning to do chest compressions. So, I began the mouth to mouth. He was not breathing at all. After about 4 rounds of chest compressions/breathing, the guy started to cough and gasp. He was taken to the hospital and will be released in a few days.
It was an incredible experience.

what sports are frownd upon by the WT
by rockmehardplace ini joined a gym recently an.d the instructor was telling me that i would be good at starting out with some boxing due to my size and speed and previous experience prior to being a jw.
i am not sure at my age if i want to start that up and i am sure that as i fade, that it would not be in my best interest to draw unneccesary attention to myself.
but it led me to thinking.. in the usa, we are told that some sports are violent and should not be viewed.

Sister "Elly" vanishes
by MinisterAmos inmy daughter is 18 and goes to meetings from time-to-time basically to mess with the dubs (she always wears mini-skirts) and keep up on gossip....she actually filled me in on this but i find it amusing.. sister "elly" (we'll just call her that) the buxom vixen of our spanish congo suddenly stopped showing up to meetings.
my curiosity became aroused when not one single person asked her mom about her!.
her mom and step-dad are super-dubs, the kind who take it personally if a child draws pictures during the meeting rather than sit ram-rod straight, if a bro uses the john more than once, or if a sister "forgets" her hose.

How sad that her mother would abandon her in this scary time in her life! The fact that these young JW's are so sheltered really comes back to bite the parents in the A**, the youth have no idea how to deal with more experienced, 'worldly' people.
When my friend got pregnant and DF'd, her parents completely cut her off. They didn't see her or their granddaughter until the little girl was 1 year old. It still makes me upset to think about it now. How cruel can you be?

Windchimes are demonic.
Can't go to Salvation Army or St. Vincent De Pauls for clothing-the proceeds may support false religion.
